James Wellbeloved Adult Dog Light Hypoallergenic Turkey & Rice is a complete dry dog food for obese dogs or those with a tendency to put on weight.
This hypo-allergenic kibble is ideal for adult dogs which suffer from skin problems or have a sensitive digestion. It is free from many of the ingredients which cause food reactions and it only contains a single source of animal protein (turkey). Rice and oats provide essential carbohydrates and all ingredients are easy to digest. Based on the James Wellbeloved "full bowl, fewer calories" principle, the Light Turkey & Rice kibble has a reduced physical density so it takes up more room in the bowl and your dog will need a little longer to eat it. The increased dietary fibre will make your dog feel full although it is actually eating fewer calories, and the protein level is higher so that your dog will mainly lose weight from the fatty tissue, rather than the muscle tissue.

The linseed oil in James Wellbeloved Adult Dog Light Hypoallergenic Turkey & Rice is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids so it helps to keep skin and fur healthy. Chicory extract provides the prebiotic inulin which is good for the digestive system, encouraging good glut flora, while preventing bad gut flora. This kibble is enriched with chondroitin, glucosamine and herbs, all of which are good for your dog's joint and bone health. Beneficial seaweed and yucca extract have lots of minerals and vitamins.
