Quality that the dog enjoys

My dog has repeatedly suffered from painful stomach inflammations. Since we switched to this food, the problems are "sorted". He enjoys it, and he's genuinely much fitter and livelier. The food also contains an active ingredient that prevents diarrhoea.

Perfect!

Super experience with the food! My dog tolerates it really well, her digestion is great, and she obviously enjoys the taste too 😊 For us, the best food!

Diarrhoea

It really helped our Golden Retriever female. I’m now continuing to mix it with regular dry food. 👍👍👍

From diarrhoea to vomiting

Unfortunately, our senior dog has often struggled with diarrhoea. After ruling out organic causes, we were given this food by the vet, who swears by it. Despite a slow transition, our dog kept vomiting repeatedly, and there were more problems than before. We might give it another try, as it’s possible he coincidentally had a gastrointestinal infection right during the food change, but I fear he doesn’t tolerate it. Best regards and good luck to all those with sensitive pets!

The only dry food our dog can tolerate

It tastes good, helps, and after almost a year of searching, it's the only (dry) food our dog can tolerate. No more diarrhoea and no more vomiting. The dog eats with such enthusiasm, it's a joy to see. I'm very, very glad to have had this food recommended to me. Interestingly, he tolerates it despite his intolerance to chicken!

Helps with problems related to the anal glands

My senior dog has a sensitive stomach and digestive issues, which ultimately led to inflamed anal glands. This food really helps to get these problems under control again and is well received.

More than satisfied

Due to my dog's chronically irritated bowel, we had to visit the vet regularly every 2-3 weeks (bloody diarrhoea, bloody vomiting, loss of appetite). Our vet gave us this food back then to try it out, as my dog is also very picky. He really enjoys eating this food, and we haven’t been to the vet for 8 months now, thanks to this food! The ingredients in the food aren’t the best, but it helps my dog a lot, and he likes eating it.

Helps with stomach and intestinal problems

My dog used to have recurring stomach and intestinal issues and soft stools. Ever since she started eating this food, her output has been perfect. So it seems to help. Plus, she enjoys eating it, even though she’s picky. The composition is admittedly questionable, but since it works, I’ll keep feeding it to her for now.

Hill's Gastrointestinal Biome

Our royal poodle has always suffered from digestive issues, even though he is very young. After his pancreas levels dropped significantly and the diarrhoea wouldn’t stop, we switched to Hill's Biome. The result was astonishing: no more diarrhoea within 6 hours. He loves eating it, it helps him stay healthy, and he’s gaining weight again. Whether it’s the highest quality food or not doesn’t matter to me anymore, because he couldn’t tolerate the expensive food, no matter the brand or price.

Top feed

After elevated pancreas levels (diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting), I switched to Hills food on the advice of my vet following a blood test. The composition, as far as a layperson can tell, is so-so. But the results regarding stool and pancreas levels after two weeks of consistent therapy were excellent. This food is absolutely brilliant for gastrointestinal issues. After two weeks, a follow-up blood test showed the pancreas levels were very good. As the saying goes, "Gut with charm." I'll definitely use it again at the slightest sign of trouble.

Great service

I have been using this product from my vet for a few weeks now as my dog has a super sensitive tummy. I ordered on a Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday so great service will definitely order again especially as its 50% cheaper than my vets prescription

Hill's Prescription Diet Canine Gastrointestinal Biome

The food was recommended to me by my vet for my dog (4 years old). My dog took to the food straight away and absolutely loves eating it. (Previously, he was on wet food.) Since Rover started eating this food, he’s back to eating normally, his digestion is great, he’s fit again, and he no longer has diarrhoea!

Sorted our Norfolk Terrier's diarrhoea in 2 meals

Our 4 year old dog, Milly, was suffering from terrible diarrhoea and having failed with our usual solution of a chicken/rice mix the vet prescribed this biscuit. Milly loves the biscuit and she rapidly recovered from her debilitating state. Relieved and happy, thoroughly recommended.

Excellent

Hi, vet here. I was recommending this prescription diet to many of my clients, but recently had test it on my 7kg mix breed and 25kg Belgian Shephard dogs. They both found this food very yummy and more importantly it settled their diarrhoea within 24hrs.

small pellets no warning

Dogs don't like it maybe because the size of pellets will suit a small, bag style dog only. The package shows a border collie, but GSD / medium/large size breeds would suffer. not recommended unless your dog is really small.

Hills Gastrointestinal Biome Digestive/Fibre Care

A really good food, my senior dog (13 years old) had giardia and terrible diarrhoea, and this helped so quickly. Within 2-3 days the stool consistency was better. We continued using it after worm treatment. The gut slowly repaired and after about 2 months he was completely better. TOP dog food that I completely recommend!!

Hills Gastrointestinal Biome Digestive/Fibre Care

A really good dog food, it helped my old dog (13 years), who had contracted giardia and had terrible diarrhoea, very, very quickly. Within 2-3 days, her stools improved. We continued giving it to her for a long time after the deworming treatment. Her gut slowly recovered, and after 2 months, she was doing really well again. TOP dog food – I can only highly recommend it!
