Good but with small but ***

My dog westie on this food from last summer so more then 6 months now. He has problems with pancreas, with this food we have very quiet nights, I don't really remember when we was sick. But one problem chicken, westies has allergy of chicken . He had antibiotic twice already and he is on the unalergi medication now

Cheryl

An excellent food unfortunately my girl isn't tolerating dry food at the moment. Highly recommend this food though 👌

Only food that worked for pancreatitis and ibd

We tried everything for our pug x frenchie with chronic pancreatitis and likely ibd. Nothing stopped his flare ups. We reluctantly tried this kibble at our wits end and he was like a different dog within a week. Like a puppy again. We've been on this now for about 3 years and no flare ups since.

Great

My little one got rid of his stomach problems straight away! Recommended by the vet, got 1.5 kg there, and reordered from zooplus, which is very customer-friendly.

Highly recommended

We've been feeding this food for almost 2 years now, and since then we've finally gotten rid of the endless stomach and intestinal issues. I can only recommend this food and keep buying it again and again. The dog still enjoys eating it. We're also glad that it's an intestinal food WITHOUT psyllium husks, as they repeatedly reduced the effectiveness of the epilepsy medication for my dog, and this food is perfectly tolerated.

The only food that worked

My beautiful French bulldog was diagnosed with pancreatitis a couple of years ago. There are other foods out there but this is the only food she would eat. It’s brilliant I also use it as treats, which she also loves, lol.

Super food!

The food, combined with the wet food from the same brand, has worked wonders for my Wolfsspitz. His pancreatitis is now completely healed.

Absolutely satisfied

Our dog's digestion, which used to suffer from frequent diarrhoea due to chronic pancreatitis, has significantly improved since the recipe change. It's been a real blessing for us.

Since the recipe change, no longer recommendable.

My dog has chronic pancreatitis and has been eating this food for several years. First, the Classic wet food was unavailable for a long time. Now, after the recipe change, the dry food is no longer eaten at all. Only reluctantly, if mixed with the ragout.

Improved Formula

Since the "improved formula" was introduced, our dog has been reluctant to eat the food.

Great food!

Due to chronic pancreatitis in my senior dog, I’m always on the lookout for high-quality, low-fat dry food, as she loves variety in her bowl. I happened to come across this food by chance and can only say positive things about it. She loves the taste, and so far, she’s been tolerating it really well.

Complete satisfaction

My beagle suffered from mild pancreatic insufficiency, which caused diarrhoea as well as weight loss and generally inadequate digestion. Thanks to switching to this food (in combination with the corresponding Hill's canned food), all symptoms disappeared within a very short time, and his levels have significantly improved. I’m absolutely thrilled!

pancreatitis

my amazing 7 year old collie has just started on this food after been unwell this year with pancreatitis. He is now doing amazingly well, and bounding around with loads of energy. He's loving racing again to keep up with my horse!

Hills Low Fat

Eliot really enjoys eating it. Since his pancreatitis, he’s been doing much better. I recommend it to anyone whose dog has problems with their pancreas. Best regards, Susi

Satisfied

I’m always satisfied, fast delivery, thank you Zooplus. ❤️

Ingredients unclear and the dog has diarrhoea.

Our young dog had an acute gastrointestinal infection, and the vet recommended this food to us. The ingredients are listed in a very unclear way, and our young dog only got diarrhoea from it.

Disappointment

Ordered this as the Gastro Intestinal Low Fat from Royal Canin was unavailable. Result: diarrhoea again, extreme gas build-up. NOT good for a dog with pancreas issues. Disappointing for such an expensive food!

Finally, the right food

My Chihuahua suffered from recurring severe bouts of diarrhoea with vomiting. It wasn’t until the fourth vet that we found out the cause: inflammation of the gallbladder and bile ducts, plus bile sludge. Medication combined with exclusively Hill’s i/d Low Fat food – both dry and wet – brought relief: no diarrhoea, no vomiting, no tummy rumbling, and no bloated belly anymore. The dry food (a good size even for small dogs) is also used as treats since she can’t tolerate anything else. I can only recommend it!

Does what it says on the Packet

My gorgeous Labrador Ollie aged 8.5 years was diagnosed with pancreatitis 9 months ago, although not overweight or given a high fat content diet. Our vet recommended the Hiils Diet for him and he has settled very well indeed, only been sick once since starting it, and is otherwise fit and well for his age. He Is not in any pain and loves his daily walks and swims. Long may it continue!

Fox

We have a Great Dane who suffered from gastric torsion, and after the surgery, we switched to this food. The dog no longer produces gas and tolerates the food perfectly. Since the change, our dog seems more agile. We never thought that switching food could make such a difference.
