Product description

Dietetic dry food for adult dogs, promotes healthy skin in the case of dermatosis, with highly digestible sources of protein and carbohydrate, omega fatty acids for skin and fur, contains vitamin E.

Itchy and irritated skin, as well as moulting and dull fur, are just some of the symptoms of skin problems in dogs, and these can be very unpleasant for your pooch. Eukanuba Veterinary Diet Dermatosis is a dietetic dog food that has been specially developed for dogs with nutritional sensitivities to support healthy skin function.
This Eukanuba Veterinary Diet Dermatosis dietetic dry food contains sources of easily-digestible protein and carbohydrate from fish and potato. This helps to reduce skin reactions caused by nutritional sensitivities. What’s more, this dog food also contains a high content of linoleic acid as well as EPA and DHA to provide nutrition that supports healthy skin and coat. Beyond this, Eukanuba Veterinary Diet Dermatosis gives your pooch vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that can contribute to a healthy immune system.

Great for itchy skin!

If your dog is suffering with itchy skin I 1000% recommend this. My puppy was itching like mad, tried all sorts of foods/shampoos and supplements, next step was vets and then someone recommended this. Been on it for 3/4 months now and her skin has cleared completely up!

Finally... after 15 foods

After 3yrs and 15 types of food including various raw foods, hydrolysed, fresh, tinned and homemade. I've finally found a food that works for my dog. She has various mite allergies, pollen and grass allergies, protein intolerance and a very sensitive stomach. This food is digested well, firm and the perfect colour. Thank god. I thought we'd never find a food to suit her. The vet kept pushing hydrolysed. If yours does the same, try this first. It's much better and tastier for them.

Buy this if your dog has allergies/IBS

Dog has multiple allergies to meats, peas and all grains manifesting as itchy skin and sore internal ears. She also has diarrhoea most of the time. This food contains no peas (so hard to find) and fish meal which is hydrolysed protein meaning the body can’t react to it and create an immune response. Her ears are now healthy looking and no itchy skin and her poos have actually become normal and pickupable. This food is far cheaper than Purina dermatosis and Hills Dermatosis and works well.

Excellent dry food

My Rottweiler bitches get this permanently, best coat texture, shiny fur, they love eating it and tolerate it really well. We're sticking with it.

Update: Teeth get clean!

My dog has been eating this food for a few months now, and he tolerates it very well. What amazes and delights me: his teeth are much whiter! He already had noticeably brown-stained teeth at just two years old, and after dental cleaning, they quickly turned brown again. Of course, I didn’t brush his teeth regularly (even though I always recommend it to my clients...). Now his teeth are completely white! Apparently, the food also has a positive effect on the bacteria in the dog's mouth?! I’m thrilled :-)

immediate improvement on my dog's skin

My dog has dermatitis and he has to take something to block the itching, which is very expensive and not so good if he has to take it for the rest of his life. Now, he used all his medicine and I had no chance to get more ATM, so i decided to try and finally invest in this food. I have to say I am very pleased on the result. Poor dog now is on a very strict only dry food diet to see if it's working and after 2 days his skin improved significantly. I really hope I'll be able to stop medication and just give him this.

Very satisfied!

My 7-year-old Golden Retriever has atopic dermatitis and reacts to many types of food with bloating/soft stools. Eukanuba Dermatosis (recommended by the vet) does smell quite fishy, but the dog loves it and tolerates it really well. His stools are firm, twice a day. The pigmentation of his skin is fading. Unfortunately, he also snacks on cat food and whatever else he finds, so he’ll probably still get ear infections from time to time...

Allergy sufferer couldn't tolerate it.

My male Bordeaux dog definitely didn’t tolerate it; he actually developed a rash all around his muzzle, as well as an ear infection and started chewing his paws. I’m now wondering why??? What kind of animal fat is being used?

Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!

I completely agree with the previous reviewer! I have three dogs, one of them suffers badly from allergies; the other two can’t tolerate grain, not even in small amounts. I feed them various types of Eukanuba. This food is absolutely worth the money!! They love eating it, and the kibble size is suitable even for small dogs. No bloating, no diarrhoea... I’m really grateful!

Super dog food for feed allergies

We've been using this food for years. Since our dog has a food allergy, pollen allergy, and house dust allergy, it's very difficult to find suitable food. This food works really well for our dog. Highly recommended.

Helps my allergic dog with skin and tummy issues

My dog has been diagnosed with atopic skin and allergic gastritis. After feeding this food, could leave most medicines off, he just has allergy tablets. Shame you don't sell smaller bags as this is too big for him (as I understand, dry food should be fed as soon as possible due to oxidation of fats, and storage mites causing allergy).
