A decorative and sheltered retreat for your four-legged friend: the Jackson dog house has an appealing design and is ideal for relaxing and taking a breather outdoors. It is made of treated wood and is equipped with a weatherproof asphalt roof that can be easily opened for airing or cleaning.The wooden kennel features a well thought-out design with practical extras. In addition to the actual dog house, you can attach a covered storage box to the dog house, where you can store food supplies, toys, leashes or other small items. There is also a raised feeding area with two stainless steel feeding bowls, which allows your dog to eat food at a comfortable height.
Tip: To make your dog feel especially comfortable in the dog house, we advise putting an insulating blanket inside.

Important:
The dog house should not be too big, as your dog creates a pleasant and warm environment with its own body heat and can only maintain it if the dog house is the correct size. If the kennel is too big, there is a risk that your dog will quickly get cold.
Please note: Accustom your pet slowly and gently to temporary accommodation in the kennel. Start by allowing your pet to stay relaxed in the kennel with the door open. Only then accustom it to being placed in the closed kennel and extend the length of stay. The kennel should never be used as a punishment, as it should be a safe and positive place for your four-legged friend.
Keeping a dog in a cage in a closed state is contrary to animal welfare and is only suitable for short-term accommodation for a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
Consult your local legislation for the correct and safe keeping of animals in cages.

Well...quite nice...
Easy to assemble, but some parts were slightly warped. We managed to adjust them ourselves. The feeding bowls are tiny and so badly dented that we’ll have to buy new ones first. The material probably won’t last more than a year!
Large gaps between the boards make it not really suitable for warm, draught-free resting... so lining the interior is definitely a MUST here!
Overall, we expected a bit more for the money. You can buy it, or just leave it...

Very lovely cabin
I'm very satisfied with the hut. It was supposed to arrive two days after ordering, so no complaints there – it did come a bit later, but that was down to the delivery service.
The hut was very easy to assemble, and my Australian Shepherd mix took to it straight away with enthusiasm (and a little help from some treats).
I can only recommend it!

Lovely dog house. Fast delivery and easy to assemble.
Even the screw bags were clearly labelled.
We have an Australian Shepherd female who fits comfortably in the house.
The colour wasn’t quite as vibrant as in the pictures.
However, this didn’t bother us as we were planning to paint the house anyway.

Everything went perfectly.
From ordering to delivery, everything went smoothly, and we were always kept well informed about what was happening. The assembly instructions were precise, and putting it together was very easy. Solid dog kennel with good value for money
We originally planned to build a doghouse ourselves for our 32 kg Labrador male, but then we came across this one. The price/performance ratio is spot on, the doghouse was easy to assemble, with excellent labelling of all screws and a clear assembly manual. The two packages arrived on the same day, delivered by two different transport companies. The only downside: the strong smell of the wood stain, which dissipates very slowly, meaning our Labrador male only goes into the doghouse for short periods... I hope he’ll eventually take to it.
My conclusion: a good alternative to building one yourself, although it’s not insulated, but our dog isn’t meant to be a yard dog anyway! And the second Labrador, who will join our family next year, will fit in as well. :-)

True to the picture, super easy to assemble
I was very pleased with the delivery, which was extremely quick.
Packed well in two parcels and bubble wrap. After unpacking, I immediately started assembling it. Surprisingly, the screws were well-labelled, and everything was pre-drilled or pre-marked. In no time at all, the doghouse was standing right in front of me.
There’s absolutely nothing to complain about, even the food bowls weren’t dented. My ACD is now enjoying this lovely doghouse.
I would buy it again anytime.

Sceptical, yet absolutely harmless
Setup was absolutely straightforward. Two packages arrived from different couriers (GLS and DHL), but both on the same day and just two days after purchase (superb), so the assembly could start right away. Assembly was a piece of cake, it looks really stylish and is absolutely spacious enough for my Doberman mix. She and the cat were both thrilled (me too) and fully accepted it—they even fit inside together ;-) . The price for the kennel is absolutely justified. I'm super satisfied and have no regrets. Good value for money
After the relatively straightforward assembly, the conclusion is that the offer price matches the performance. However, the RRP of €160 seems quite ambitious to me, considering I expect a maximum lifespan of 3 years.
The kennel provides sufficient space for my average-sized male Labrador. However, it remains to be seen how long the thin base plate, like all the other components, will support his weight of 36 kg.
The workmanship is decent, screws were provided in the required quantity, and most of the pre-drilled holes were fine. Only twice did I have to re-drill (a cordless screwdriver should be used).
The assembly was easily done solo in less than an hour. Given the thin panels, the kennel is also easy to carry once assembled.
The two metal bowls shown in the picture are indeed included in the delivery, but they are quite small for a dog of the size for which such a kennel is intended. They are not high-quality, as they were already slightly dented when unpacked.
Delivery was made in two packages on two different days by two different couriers. This is rather suboptimal, especially when you realise after unpacking the first package that you can't even start assembling because the instruction manual is, of course, in the package that hasn't arrived yet.
As mentioned at the beginning: for the price, the small "compromises" are absolutely acceptable.
