Great for my short hair cat

This was exactly what I needed, I’d been puzzled by all the intense looking furminators and heavy duty combs as my cat has short hair and quite sensitive skin. This is great for her, it helps to spread the natural oils evenly throughout her coat whilst still getting her undercoat out. It does require cleaning the hair out fairly often but I already had a mini rake-like tool for such things. The fact that it’s eco friendly too gives it 5 stars from me

Pleasant to use, bristles are relatively soft but just right (my dog has many cysts, so metal brushes are only very limited in use).

Unfortunately, it hardly picks up any hair...

I bought the brush for my two British Shorthair cats, but I think the bristles are spaced too far apart. The large gaps between the bristles unfortunately mean that hardly any hair is picked up – so even for basic grooming and a few loose hairs, it’s not sufficient. Additionally, the bristles don’t seem to penetrate very deeply into the fur either. So, for my two cats, it’s rather unsuitable.
