A great accessory for training dogs in open countryside, this UV-resistant and weatherproof Heim dog lead is made from robust and durable BioThane®. The surface of the lead is very easy to grip, yet comfortable to hold, and it can be used for training, or as a drag or tracking line.
Biothane®is a US-patented material made up of a PU-coated high-tech polyester webbing that is very robust and rip-resistant, and able to stand up to even the strongest tugging.
The lead has no hand loop, so it can slide safely along behind your dog, even through thick undergrowth or bushes, without tangling or getting caught. The smooth, waterproof coating of the Biothane® material does not attract water or dirt, making it easy to keep clean, antibacterial and mould-resistant.

Very good, doesn't get tangled up
Great for teaching our puppy recall and stopping on command. Strong and sturdy, only got tangled twice in 2 months, in deep bramble

Looks great, very slippery when wet
A great lead, very sturdy and gives plenty of freedom. Easy to clean and stands out thanks to the bright colour. It can also go in the water, though a small downside is that when wet, it slips very easily through your hands – there’s no loop, which is actually a positive, especially when the dog is swimming with it in the water. It’s useful to always have a cloth on hand to quickly wipe the lead dry, and then everything works perfectly again!

Super Investment
Hardly picks up any dirt when dragged across grass and dirt paths. Very sturdy, you can rely on its tear resistance. Nice and lightweight. No bulkier than an electric cable. Highly visible thanks to the bright orange – just as a trip hazard should be. Highly recommended.

Great concept but too heavy
Got this for our dog to practice recall. He is a bit over 20kg and got used to dragging this around relatively quickly. However, the sheer weight of it is problematic. We are far more fond of the fluorescent yellow lead (5m) which we could not do without. The material is excellent - no tangles!

Great lead!
I am very satisfied. Whether on dirt tracks, in the woods, or on grassy areas with shrubs and larger stones: it doesn’t get caught anywhere! It also doesn’t tangle around the dog itself. It’s highly visible. Even when wet, it’s easy to hold. Cleaning it is very simple. Dirt dries off the lead quite quickly.
It weighs a little over 500g, which is perfectly fine for my 13kg dog. It doesn’t float. I find the carabiner a bit small, but it seems to be sturdy. It has a slight "rubber" smell for a while.

Fab lead!
I've very satisfied. Whether it's a dirt road, a forest or a meadow with shrubs and large stones: it doesn't snag anywhere! It doesn't even get tangled round the dog. You can easily see it. Even when its wet its easy to grip and cleaning is simple. Any mud dries quickly.
It weighs about 500g and is perfect for my 13kg dog. It doesn't float. I found the carabiner a bit small, but it seems stable. It smelled a bit like "rubber" for a while.

Great tracking lead!
We already have the Heim Biothane in 20m in yellow. Now we’ve got this lead, and it feels even smoother in the hand than the flat lead! I’m absolutely convinced by the Biothane material and the zooplus shop!
