Product description

Ergonomically shaped muzzle for dogs, extremely robust and padded with three attachment points, smooth and flexible and allowing your dog to drink and pant easily, in a range of sizes.
In unsafe environments or particular popular, busy locations, it can sometimes be useful for your dog to wear a muzzle. The ergonomically designed Baskerville Ultra 2.0 Muzzle offers maximum safety and also the highest comfort for your dog. It is not only extremely robust but also softly padded, as well as being flexible enough to allow your dog to drink, pant and eat out of your hand.

The Baskerville Ultra 2.0 Muzzle offers three different attachment options to ensure a secure hold and no slipping. A neck strap with plastic clip allows you to quickly put the muzzle on and take it off. Under the chin is another strap, which can be threaded through your dog’s usual collar to additionally secure the muzzle and close around the back of the neck.

Please note: Wearing a muzzle should be a daily occurrence for your dog, rather than being used as a punishment. Ensure your dog gets used to the muzzle slowly and gently.

Measuring your dog:
Measure from the tip to the base of the nose, under the eyes
Measure the widest part of the muzzle, generally under the eyes Examples of breeds correspond with their typical adult size. Bitches or young dogs may require a smaller size.

Please note: The muzzle must allow your dog to open its mouth so that it can pant. It should have 1cm clear from the end of the dog's nose. The breeds mentioned in the table are only recommendations since each dog has a unique snout shape which might differ from other dogs of the same breed.

The Baskerville Ultra 2.0 Muzzle is malleable and can be moulded to suit the shape of your dog's snout. In order to mould the muzzle, place it in water at approx. 70-80°C for 4-5 minutes, and then shape the muzzle.

Important:
Don't expect your dog to immediately take to the muzzle. It might take a few weeks for your dog to get used to wearing it. In the beginning just put the muzzle on for a few seconds. Then gradually increase the time you let your dog wear it. If you try to rush this familiarisation phase your dog might reject the muzzle completely and never get used to wearing it.
