Trixie Reflective Paws Dog Lead - Silver

When unpacking, the lead felt good and gave a robust impression. We're curious about its durability! The lead is relatively heavy, but for our Havanese mix (a solid 8kg), both the lead and the clip are not too big. For smaller dogs, I imagine it could be more problematic.

I've been using this dog lead for the 5th year now. It’s just indestructible :) It keeps holding up and holding up and holding up. The only thing that’s slowly wearing out from constant use is the paw prints on the lead :) But that’s about it. Well – there’s more available here anyway... just brilliant :)

We've been using the lead along with the harness for a year now with our shepherd mix on a daily basis: Yes, the paws wear down over time, but the silver base material still reflects enough. Yes, she once bit into it during an unguarded moment, and now the lead is fraying a bit at the bottom, but it still holds up. Yes, the underside is black and not reflective, but it's precisely this side that makes the lead comfortable to hold.

Really good lead, can be used double. Unfortunately too heavy for my little Morkie. Clasps are large, good for big dogs though

Unfortunately, the lead isn’t as vibrant as it appears in the pictures. It also frays quickly, and the reflective parts peel off rather fast. That said, the lead is handy and sturdy. For the price, it’s adequate, but it’s certainly not very durable.

I've had the lead for about 7 months now, and well, it's good in the dark and at dusk, but it frays quickly, and the reflective pattern wears off bit by bit. Other than that, it serves its purpose. Kind regards, Oliver Reeske

I think the lead is brilliant

I have a small Maltese – the harness came as a set with the lead. The harness was delivered in XS-S (fits almost perfectly), but the lead was in M-L... far too heavy for such a small dog (the carabiner hooks are really big) and too wide... poor little dog... A call to zooplus wasn’t very successful – apparently, the lead only comes in that one size (which makes no sense to me – small dogs, no bigger than a cat, don’t need a 2m long and almost 1kg heavy lead), but oh well, I’ll have to live with it. Maybe I’ll find a lighter and thinner lead that matches it. That said, the design and functionality (reflective) are very nice. Delivery was lightning fast – hence 4 stars.

The lead is just brilliant, perfect for evenings but can also be used during the day – it doesn’t really matter. And the price is simply fantastic. In my city, I’ve seen the lead as well, but unfortunately, it costs €22.99 here. Highly recommended!

The lead is very nice, but my 5-month-old Lab has already chewed through it in an unguarded moment. Such a shame, now I need to get a new one.

I ordered the lead and the harness, and I have to say the harness is great, but I’ve been less impressed with the lead right from the start. In my opinion, the lead is too wide, too stiff, and somehow feels "heavy" for daily use (I have a small Shih Tzu). I also find the hooks on it too big and too heavy.

Great for our dog Max but as we often take one of his friends on walks with him this lead is fabulous for that as it can clip onto 2 collars or clip onto the split lead and be extended so that both dogs have lots of freedom of movement. Then there is the added bonus that it sort of glows if we are caught by car headlights so that the driver knows we are there.

The lead is beautiful, very sturdy, and comfortable to hold in the hand. It reflects perfectly, just like the harness, and feels very durable. Simply brilliant :)

I've been using the lead daily for 2 years now. OK, I could do with a new one because it's pretty worn out from all the washing. But since it's not that expensive, I don't think it's a big deal – I'll definitely get the same one again. Dear ZOOPlus Team, Could you maybe add the reflective strips on both sides? That would make the lead even better!

I regularly take shelter dogs for walks. Recently, I was given a dog with this type of lead. I have to say, I’m absolutely not impressed. The lead is very lightweight and, as a result, sags quite a bit at the point where the middle ring is. The rubber coating made my hands wet. This lead felt very unpleasant to hold. Honestly, I wouldn’t choose it for my own dog (if I had one). It does reflect light in the dark, that’s for sure, but there are other leads out there that don’t feel so uncomfortable in your hand...

The lead reflects brilliantly! Even though the inside is unfortunately black and not reflective, you can still always see a bit of the silver side of the lead. The smallest ray of light is enough for the lead to reflect so much that it’s almost dazzling! Feels comfortable in the hand, great price, and, as always, fast delivery!

We've had the complete set for over 2 years now, and I'm absolutely satisfied. Sure, it's a bit worn by now, but it's constantly in use, come rain or shine. I ordered the harness again today because I think it's soooo great, and it's currently cheaper. We have a Labrador mix, 24 kg!
