The foldable Trixie Vario Mobile Kennel is a versatile item, acting as a great pet kennel for when you're away from home. No matter whether you are camping, travelling or simply staying away from home, this Trixie Vario Mobile Kennel offers your dog the perfect space to relax in. Floor straps and pegs included with the crate help to secure the kennel firmly to the floor. It is easy for your dog to enter the box as it can be opened on three different sides. Excellent
Size is good and the quality too, bought for my cat as she gets nerves going vets she has plenty of room and when we set it up she went straight init and went to sleep so she liked it :)

Excellent product
My dog does not like the car and dribbles everywhere from stress, I thought this would make him feel safer and he seems much more content. A large fits the boot of my XC90 perfectly. He is a big lab.

Trixie Vario Transport Box
We bought a large version of this box for an English Springer Spaniel to use in the back of a Skoda Yeti and it is excellent in every respect. Our dog is really happy to travel in it and it is also brilliantly to use in the house when visiting people so he has his own space. A brilliant, brilliant product!

Trixie Vario Transport Box
I recently bought the Trixie Vario in the small size for my 4 1/2 year old French Bulldog. I wanted it for his indoor "den". I have been able to put a soft sided bed inside which makes it look extremely cosy. The size is perfect for him and he loves it.

Brilliant
Love this crate. I use if for two mini dachshunds in the car and they are fastened in well with this crate and still have good visibility. The other bonus is that this crate has a front and side entrance which is exactly what I was looking for which other soft crates did not have. Well made and very happy with this product.

BEST IN SHOW
I bought one of these some years back (special order from Germany). I've had other travel crates which have been and gone, this goes on forever and still looks like new. Goes in the motorhome, the house, the car's back seat, the garden, travel bed away from home. Your pet will also thank you for taking his/her bed with you (familiarity etc). It's design also allows you to 'secure' your pet from little pinchers (kids) without the dog feeling abandoned or put out. Easy up, easy down, easy clean, EASY LIFE.

Practical and indispensable
We decided after much back and forth (kennel, cage or crate) to choose this kennel, because we originally only wanted to use it for our puppies and the coming holidays. Now we absolutely couldn't do without it. Our dog made the kennel into her new home on the first night. The only thing she found difficult at first was being closed in, because she caught her claws in the mesh and tore some small holes. Now that she has grown a bit more that is no longer a problem. However, I do find that the carrying handle is becoming looser with regular carrying from A to B, and will probably tear off at some point. I really have to take off a point for that! At the moment we don't take the kennel with us everywhere anymore, but even in the larger sizes (we have size L) it is still quite portable.

Super foldable box
Our dog trainer told us we should get a kennel for Snoopy so that he can have somewhere to hide when people come and visit (he doesn't like visitors much). We bought the Vario kennel because it has an opening on the wider side, and it fits better in Snoopy's sleeping area. We really like it, it's very stable and looks great. It's easy to put up and take down, and very easy to store in your car and carry everywhere with you. We go to a hotel for a few days every September and always take the kennel with us into the hotel room. At first Snoopy hated it. (He came from abroad and was transported in a box with lots of other dogs in a lorry, that probably explains why). Then I thought of putting his basket inside the kennel - and now he loves it! Would absolutely recommend the Trixie Vario.

Good quality folding kennel
This kennel is really great! It's stable and well thought out... and the size L fits perfectly into our Passat Variant (without even taking out the parcel shelf), and also into our VW Touran. It is also big enough to let a Giant Schnauzer lie on his side comfortably; he can also stand up inside it. Putting it together takes about 30 seconds and is incredibly easy. The dogs love having a stable, comfy and light kennel to chill out in at home in the car and outside during training.

Great kennel!
We absolutely love this kennel. It is super stable and doesn't crumple up, even when our Australian Shepherd puppy keeps moving around to get into the right sleeping position. The Velcro strips on the bottom stop it from sliding around when we're driving. We have just bought the same kennel in a larger size - I think that says it all.

Super durable carrier!!!!
Thrilled with this product, bought it in size M a few weeks ago and have been using it on the back seat of our soft top. Works brilliantly. I've now bought the size L for our Fabia 1.4 Combi and that one fits perfectly into the boot. You do have to take out the parcel shelf to fit it in though. But it's worth it, so that our little Münsterländer has a bit of extra room! Great service from zooplus as well! Couldn't be happier.

Teething puppy!
Ordered the box for my 3-month old Border Collie... unfortunately the zip fastening and material didn't stand up to her chewing it every night, so now the entrance doesn't close any more. She did seem happy and settled as soon as we put her in it though, and it's quick to assemble and easy to carry. If you don't have a puppy that likes to chew, I'd recommend this carrier.

Good product
We bought the box in size XL for our Belgian shepherd. When we brought him home at 8 weeks, we put a cardboard box inside the kennel so that he wouldn’t feel lost in the larger cage, and to help with housebreaking.
She took to the box straight away and so far so good. At night we leave the top flap open so he can see us through the mesh. The first night he went a bit mad and had a good chew on the inside of the carrier, but it survived. The zipper on the side is expandable, and sometimes it gets stuck, but at the moment is still working ok (we’ve had the kennel for over 3 months now). However, the zip on the cover of the lining has broken, because our puppy just loves chewing on it!
I really like how easy it is to put the box together and take it apart: there are only two cross braces to put together, and the box is ready.
CONCLUSION: We would definitely buy this travel box again, as we are very satisfied with the price/performance. One star deducted because of the slightly dodgy zip on the side, and because the cover didn’t last very long when our puppy was chewing at it.
