One third of the orthopaedic health mattress is equipped with a layer of memory foam. The mattress is viscoelastic and adapts individually and optimally to the protruding parts of your dog's body, such as shoulders and hips. This means that your pet can lie completely pressure-relieved and pain-free! The thick wellness mattress also protects against harmful cold floors and underfloor heating.
This makes the sofa ideal for preventing or treating existing joint diseases, especially in older dogs. The thick mattress is also particularly comfortable and cosy. The high, dimensionally stable roller backrest, which is fixed to 2 sides of the dog bed, allows your pet to lean back comfortably and optimally support its spine or head. The smooth surface of the high-quality brown faux leather cover is extremely hygienic. It can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth to remove loose hair and dirt from the bed.

As the memory foam mattress has been very heavily compressed for shipping reasons, it needs approx. 48 hours after unpacking to fully unfold and reach its final height. Please place an underlay between the bed and parquet or PVC flooring to prevent any discolouration of the floor.

Very disappointing
We bought this bed years ago. Unfortunately, it’s now seen better days, so we decided to treat ourselves to a new one. What arrived today is nothing like the old one. A cheap imitation.
If it weren’t too much hassle, I’d send it back. Such a shame about the money!

New version is cheaply made, just awful
I bought this to replace my dog’s bed. I went with this as it was the same brand that had lasted 10+ years. So bought the new one, expecting the same quality as the previous purchase. Wow was I wrong! Within a couple weeks of use, the seam at the front of the bed had split open! 😡 Nutmeg is not destructive with her bed or toys and I am disgusted with the quality! We will not be buying this brand again. The price is not worth it anymore. I would NOT recommend at all.

Quality has noticeably declined
A few years ago, I bought two sizes of this bed, and they were absolutely great. I only gave them away because I wasn’t sure if I’d get another dog. Now, upon unpacking, I’m very disappointed – the edging is completely soft, like it’s filled with cotton wool. I just hope the lying surface doesn’t sag straight away :-(

Three or four stars?
We’ve had a sofa like this in our living room since 2015, so for 7 years now. I still give it 5 stars!!!
That’s why I decided to get a second one for the bedroom. It was delivered today, and I was already disappointed when unpacking it. The edging has noticeably less filling, so it’s a bit too soft. My dog weighs about 22 kg and doesn’t have a heavy head. She likes to rest her head on the edge, and with the new sofa, it sinks in much more. I hope this doesn’t affect the comfort.

Very good
I just found in my order history that I bought this sofa in January 2015. It’s in our living room and is pretty much in constant use. It used to be the favourite spot of my late Lab mix girl. A few weeks ago, her successor moved in and immediately took to it.
What’s really impressive is the durability. Apart from a few superficial scratches, it has no damage. The seams have held up, and even the memory foam hasn’t been compressed.

No longer the same quality as the older model
I’ve bought this sofa three times, but unfortunately, the most recently purchased one is a bit darker and not as firmly filled as the previous version. The backrest has become a bit more "floppy." However, my dogs don’t mind that at all :)

Perfect for seniors with incontinence issues
Our 16-year-old Westie mix has unfortunately become incontinent at night. After having to dispose of several dog beds for hygiene reasons, we needed a comfortable yet easy-to-clean bed. Normally, our Idefix struggles with new sleeping spots, but this sofa was an instant hit! Super comfy and easy to keep clean. Top-notch!
To the Zooplus team: Incontinence in our beloved senior dogs is becoming more of an issue. Please consider offering more suitable products to meet this need.

After 4 years, we're buying it again now.
I love this bed, and so does our dog. It’s comfortable, sturdy, and super easy to maintain. Especially with his aching joints, he seems to feel very comfortable there. Our dog used to throw up occasionally, and you could just wipe it off and it was good as new. Our dog weighs around 25kg and sometimes likes to scratch things into place (not too hard), and apart from a few marks, there’s nothing visible.
Now, after 4 years, the memory foam has worn down a bit, so we’re getting a second one.

For 10 minutes, it was lovely...!
Visually great... but the cover and seams are not designed for large, heavy dogs! After 10 minutes of jumping on and off, testing it out, and stretching once, that was it... his claws, which are neither long nor sharp, pressed into the cover and left a small tear in the backrest.
The filling caught Jaxx's attention, and he finished it off!
No, he doesn’t suffer from destructive tendencies; up until now, the worst he’s done is take down a kitchen roll...
An expensive 10 minutes!

Great dog bed
I have 2 Belgian Shepherds, and when my female dog "got on in years" (at 7 years old), I really wanted an orthopaedic dog bed. This one was very appealing visually, so I ordered it. That was 5 years ago, and I’m still thrilled with it. The bed is very durable, easy to clean, the dogs love it, and for my male dog, we ordered a second one 2 years ago so they wouldn’t have to fight over the sleeping spot anymore. We’re more than satisfied :-)

Not a happy hound
Cheap Chinese copy?
The badge isn’t on the front of the bed received as shown in the photos on the webpage. The quality of the finishing on the corners isn’t as good as one purchased 2015. After removing the new mattress bed from the cover it’s immediately evident that it’s not as thick as the old one by 10mm also feels of a lot lesser quality. It’s the same for the bumper rolls which in the case of the new one doesn’t even seem to be memory foam! As far as I’m concerned it’s a refund job!

Good product, but...
There’s nothing to criticise about the quality of the dog sofa. It arrived without any defects and looks exactly like it does in the picture. Unfortunately, the sofa is very slippery, and hardly any blanket stays on it. None of my three dogs wanted to use the bed as a sleeping spot. Even my girl, who always sleeps next to my bed, preferred to find another place rather than lie in it. So, it’s going back. Such a shame.

Good
I have to say, I bought the bed for my two dogs back in April 2019. They are very sturdy and look comfortable. Unfortunately, my male dog tore his apart after 5 months. My female dog still has hers. However, since she always lies in the same spot, a dip has formed. In terms of design, the beds are real eye-catchers and still top-notch. I’ll be buying them again for both of them next year.

Really great!
The short delivery time already exceeded my expectations. Barney, my seven-month-old Lab, and Betty, the lovable mix between a Muscovy duck and a taxi, were instantly head over heels for this thing! They claimed it straight away.
The quality is really good, and above all, I’m thrilled that it will be super easy to clean. In a word: Absolutely brilliant!

Hundi loves his little bed.
The delivery driver rang the bell and my dog was immediately sniffing around. Unpacked the bed and it was instantly tested by the dog. Since then, he’s been lying on it non-stop along with his plush buddies.
The cleaning option of simply wiping it down is great, especially since my dog sheds a lot and loves rolling around outside. This bed really seems to be very helpful for dogs with back problems.
A purchase that delights both furry friends and their owners. (It’s a shame, though, that you can’t upload a photo with the review.)
