Make sure your dog doesn't miss out on fun trips with the Trixie Friends on Tour de Luxe Bike basket. It's a great way to transport your pet, and can be used either as a bike basket or as a carrier with a shoulder strap. The base and sides are padded for extra comfort.The Trixie Friends on Tour de Luxe bike basket is made from tough, hardwearing nylon and is easy to assemble and fasten to the handlebars of your bike. No further installation is necessary as the mount stays attached to handlebar and you can remove or attach the basket as required. The seams have reflecting strips so you and your pet will be visible even when the light starts to fade.
To make sure your dog does not jump out of the basket, there is an integrated safety belt with a snap hook which can be attached to your dog's collar or harness. There are useful pockets on the front and the sides of the basket. The pockets close securely with zippers or magnetic press studs so there is plenty of room to keep everything safe.

No firm grip
Fast delivery, but that's the only good thing about this basket.
Very unstable, no secure hold for dogs. The basket slides back and forth when steering. In my opinion, there are too few mounting options on the handlebars. There's no way this can be called "de Luxe".

The safety clip did not hold my 2.6 kilo puppy as she fell out of basket, it broke and puppy ended on floor in the middle of road. So please do not rely on the leash with the clip on.

Perfect transport for small dogs
I was missing a way to transport my 3.5 kg dog with my new bike. As a woman, I even assembled it myself *proud* and it’s wonderful! I trained my dog slowly to get used to it, and she loves it! Great value for money, including the padding inside. I’m so happy!

Great basket but had to return
Lovely basket , great for small dogs. It says it’s up to 7 kg but i would say 5 will be maximum. I have 8kg patterdale terrier but decided to give it a try. She was able to sit there , maybe later on when she would get used to lay down but myself and my partner found it uncomfortable and unsafe to cycle. Therefore i requested the return and ordered bigger basket to place at back. If you have small dog definitely buy, but if your dog is 6+ i don’t recommend.

Very sturdy
Our dog isn’t quite a fan of cycling yet, but that’s just because he’s not used to it.
The basket is brilliant. Very easy to attach, sits securely on the handlebars, and does exactly what it promises. Perfectly suitable for small dogs.

Super bike basket for mountain bike
The basket is brilliant! I bought this for my Chihuahua girl and I’m thrilled. It’s very sturdy, and even on rough terrain, she can enjoy the view relatively calmly. Everything for my little one can be stored in the side pockets – I’ve already taken a blanket, lead, toys, and food with me. Inside, there’s a securing lead that can also be adjusted in length. My little one accepted the basket straight away and she loves riding in it. :-)

Great basket, even for my 10kg dog.
The basket is great. Assembly was good and straightforward. I removed the stiffening side panels and only kept the base plate. Thanks to the straps that can be additionally attached to the handlebars, the basket holds so well that my 10kg Parson Terrier mix can sit comfortably and securely. I’ve now permanently attached the basket to my bike – for shopping, bags, etc.

Stable even with a 10kg dog
Very practical basket thanks to the 3 side pockets and good quality. Easy to assemble. Thanks to the straps that are additionally secured to the handlebars along with the frame, I can safely transport my 10kg Parson Terrier mix. Another bonus: the basket can be easily and quickly detached – the frame mounted on the handlebars doesn’t get in the way at all. However, I don’t like riding without the basket anymore, as it fits not only my dog but also my shopping and my bag perfectly.

Absolutely top
Mona-Lisa, our 4-month-old Bolonka Zwetna puppy, absolutely loves the basket. She has a great view and is very curious about everything she sees from her "elevated position." Very nice basket for the bike
I’m very happy with it; two Chihuahuas fit inside, which I think is absolutely brilliant. There’s a large pocket at the front for storing treats or leads, and a mesh pocket on the side for a water bottle. I can only recommend the bike basket!

I bought this item a while ago when I got my Jack Russell I have it on my second Bike now had to have modifications done for break line then when i bought my second bike a couple of weeks ago they put it on as they built the bike and I find it wonderful rain covers would be good but anything can be used. might have to replace the box soon as it is getting The worse for wear

Only for really small dogs!!
I bought this bag for my Jacky, who weighs 7.5 kg. He sat in it like a sardine in oil. The Jacky in the picture must have been a puppy :-(
I am very disappointed!!!!
The bag itself makes a good impression and looks sturdy. I would buy it again if it were available in a slightly larger size. I checked with a specialist retailer, and they said it doesn’t exist. Such a shame. Because I was annoyed by the misleading picture, I’m only giving three stars!
