Absolutely sufficient for the home garden.

Absolutely recommendable for home use, the poles are made of plastic and slightly flexible. This is also reflected in the setup – they look slightly bent visually. Hence, one star deducted. The metal pins went into the ground without any issues, and the poles were quickly in place. Child and dog are having fun, and that's the main thing. Therefore, a clear purchase recommendation from us.

Agility Fun & Sport Slalom Set

The goods were once again delivered quickly in terms of quality and quantity, and the carry bag makes them easy to transport. Our Golden Retriever female (11 months old) immediately takes to the play and exercise sessions, and I also find the colours very nice.

Great value for money

These poles are great value for money for someone who wants to play some fun agility in their garden. They are very sturdy with a long spike on them to make them stable. OK, they aren't precision engineered, but you wouldn't expect that for the price! I would definitely recommend them for someone just getting into the sport or for everyday practice sessions at home.

It's alright.

My Aussie does enjoy it, but unfortunately, the "pins" got completely bent the first time we tried it, so the safety of use isn't guaranteed. Very unstable. As a result, the product hasn't been of much use to us for long.

Absolutely brilliant for home use.

I bought the set to be able to practise slalom at home as well. I think that, especially in the beginning, frequent repetition in short training sessions is important for learning the slalom. It’s quick to set up in the garden, and with the red guide string, the distances can be measured easily.

The workmanship could be better - the idea is brilliant.

Had the poles in use for one summer. Despite regular cleaning, the ground spikes were heavily rusted. When we packed them away for winter, three ground spikes broke off :( You should only use the poles on soft ground, as the spikes bend easily. The manufacturing needs to be improved.

My dogs are having so much fun!

This set is absolutely brilliant. It's easy to assemble, and the quality is top-notch for home use in the garden! The hurdles/slalom poles can be easily stuck into (soft) lawn soil and stand nice and stable. There are no sharp edges, everything is well-made – the dog can't hurt itself anywhere. Personally, I find the tunnel sack a bit too long. I simply leave it off, and the dogs still race through it with lots of fun. I would buy this set again and again. The individual bags for each piece of equipment are also very well-made and super practical. A clear recommendation to buy!

Good product, great price

Great set. The weave poles have a long spike in them and are quickly and easily pressed into the ground. The poles are strong and brightly coloured (much easier for your dog to see). Easily set up into V-weaves, channel-weaves and regular straight weaves. Very portable, so great for bringing with you on walks for extra weave practice!

So very impressed

You may find all these dog agility items a few pounds cheaper elsewhere, but Zooplus have been so good to us with deliveries and good quality product that we thought we would pay the extra across the range. We were well rewarded for this decision, the products arrived so quickly (free postage with Yodel) and we were thrilled with the special zooplus branded carry cases for all the items ordered, this has actually saved us a fortune in buying carry cases. Excellent service again!

Great for home use!

The slalom poles are super lightweight, and thanks to the relatively long metal tips, they stand firmly. You can set up the slalom however you like, which is especially helpful for giving the dog good guidance at the beginning (by positioning them offset). My "home course" is permanently set up, so the slalom poles are exposed to all kinds of weather. If they ever get dirty, you just need to wipe them with a cloth, and they’re clean again. I haven’t needed the carrying bag yet, but it’s definitely practical if you want to set up the course somewhere else.

Floor nails bend very easily

The slalom poles are usable, but the ground spikes bend very easily – especially during dismantling, you need to be very careful to pull the poles straight up out of the ground; otherwise, the ground spikes will bend immediately. The fastening of the ground spikes to the poles is also not convincing – it comes loose very easily. However, they are definitely suitable for casual training with a fun factor.

Agi for Advanced Users

Great product if you know how to set up/train with such a device and probably more suited for advanced users?! For anyone who’s already got the hang of it and just wants to practise the flow, it’s an absolute "must-have". Small drawback: I, of course, immediately misplaced the rubber caps for the ground pegs, so the transport bag unfortunately gets damaged far too quickly...

Difficult to rate

If the ground is too soft, the poles tip over at the slightest gust of wind; if it's too hard, you can't use them at all... the hollow plastic tends to bend easily, and when you pull the poles out of the ground, it can happen that the nails, including the "plugs," just stay stuck in there... fast, energetic dogs that crash into the slalom and push off the poles with their bodies simply knock them out of the ground... However, they are very lightweight, easy to transport, and quick to set up! For setting up a slalom and quick training sessions on the go, they're absolutely brilliant, and despite the mentioned drawbacks, I would buy them again!

Had no problems

I had no problems with the rods. Despite the drought and the hard floor. The case is still o.k. I bought the slalom set only for the private garden at home. Nevertheless, it they have two dogs, Hovis 32 kg and Bear 40 kg, press against them now and then. The neon colors took a bit of getting used to, but now I find it great.

Not very durable!

The poles are actually great. However, if you want to use them in harder ground, the poles and nails bend. Even if they’re inserted at an angle in the ground, the poles still bend.

Good quality

I can only agree with the positive review before me. The set also withstands regular garden use perfectly for me. I use it for a total of 3 Beagles.

Had no problems

Unlike the previous reviewer, I had no issues with the poles. Despite the dryness and hard ground, I’ve already moved them several times – and the tips hold up well. The bag is still in good condition too. I only use the slalom set privately at home in the garden. Even so, it has to withstand two Hovis weighing 32 and 40 kg, who occasionally lean against it. The neon colours took some getting used to at first, but now I think they’re great.

Tent pegs just fall out - Bag tears

Right from the first use, 3 ground pegs, including their plastic attachments, fell out – poorly glued. The bag just tore open on the first day. Such a shame, because the slalom looks really good at first glance!
