Cats love this scratcher for lounging and playing, but it's not ideal for heavier cats due to its lightweight and fragile design. Some find it unstable, and the sisal patch is too short for effective scratching. However, it’s a bargain and has an appealing design. While some cats enjoy it, others ignore it completely. It's best suited for smaller or lighter cats who appreciate the soft carpet feel.

Scratch Mat Wave
My cats love them. But very fragile.

Not good quality
I received the scratching wave in mid-October, and now, after 3 1/2 months, it's already broken. My previous scratching wave lasted three years, and I wanted to replace it because I thought it had finally worn out. Today, I took it out of the basement again and realised that it's in far better condition than the new one. Plus, it had a much larger scratching surface.
I would advise against buying this; after just a few months, the wave should still be in perfect condition.

Not suitable for large or sturdy cats
My cats love the wave, but unfortunately, it's very lightweight, and our boys (5-7kg) drag it around the room. Sadly, the fabric doesn't last long and falls apart into fuzzy bits. I wouldn't buy it again.

Super
My cats love it. And for the price, you can't complain. It's used for scratching as well as snoozing.
Not really suitable for heavier cats, as it doesn't seem stable enough for them.

For large cats, too lightweight
My big 7kg tomcat loves small scratching mats, but this one is too light, so he can't scratch properly. Conveniently, it's curved in such a way that I can wedge it under the radiator, and it doesn't go flying across the flat.

Cat Lounger
My two BSH cats like to lounge in these beside the patio windows. They don't really use them for scratching, but as I've got wooden floors, I think they like the soft carpet feel and being right up close to view the garden. I do have to squash them a bit so the wave is shallower to fit them. I've just bought my third one, to replace one that was grubby after several years hoovering.

We love it
My two cats really love it and are very interested in lying inside or underneath it; they also scratch it from time to time. We love it!

Good product
I bought this in place of cardboard ones as they're out of stock. It seems that my cat approved :)

Great but a little unstable
Kitten loves it but I have to make sure it’s against a wall because it’s a little unstable once he jumps on it

Good piece of play equipment
My little one doesn’t use it for scratching, but she loves hiding in it while playing.

Not suitable for chubby cats
When my cat (6kg) lies on it, it does give way quite a bit. I'm afraid it won't last long...
The design is nice.

Not for larger cats.
The concept is ok but the product is weak and poorly made. The sisal patch isn’t long enough for a full grown cat.
This product might be ok for a smaller light weight cat FB or kitten. My poor senior cat loves to scratch on sisal and made a valiant effort but she couldn’t position herself in a way that she could scratch effectively. The bridge where the sisal patch is weak so when my 6kg fur baby got on it kept flattening instead of staying positioned.

Gladly received
The scratching mat is great and is well received by all three tomcats. I've had it for quite some time now, and it still looks good.

Love this!
My cat loves this scratcher - her claws are ever-so sharp and she's using it all the time, but it's holding up! She also loves playing underneath it when she has the zoomies! It's a bargain, you can't go wrong with this.

Looks elegant, remains unused
It's a good-looking design; quite elegant. But the cat has completely ignored it since day 1 -- no treats or catnip or anything will convince her to scratch it, or even sit on or near it. She uses plenty of other scratching pads and posts, and I think it's the curved design that is not appealing to cats (or just her), or perhaps that the amount of space inside each curve would only fit kittens or quite small cats. Unfortunate; I plan to donate it.

Great scratching mat Wave
Exactly the right thing for little kittens! My little one loves this toy! She cuddles with it, bites it, scratches it, and can keep herself very well entertained with it! Top-notch.

Scratching mat not accepted
Unfortunately, my tomcat still hasn’t used this scratching mat to this day.
His favourites are the scratching mats made of corrugated cardboard.
He also loves scratching around in wicker laundry baskets. It was worth a try.
Cheers!

Doesn't get scratched but good hideout
The cat will sit on this, sleep on it, drape over it, hide under it, pounce on toys from it...but doesn't scratch it. I think it's too smooth, so not fit for the purpose I bought it for and have had to buy another type.

Fun for one
I have 5 cats and only 1, an 8 year old tortoiseshell, plays with this. She will suddenly leap on it, scratch it, play with the ball, knock it over deliberately and generally have great fun with it. She will then sit on it and look pleased with herself. She is a very playful cat but the others watch her and look puzzled. It seems to be a Marmite toy.

My two love it!
My two cats absolutely love this thing; they use it a lot, even if it's just to sit or lie on it.
