Biokat’s Active Pearls are a great way to help stop nasty litter tray smells. These little granules are made from 100% natural clay and activated charcoal, both of which are very effective in absorbing urine and faeces odours. This powerful odour absorber is completely natural. The activated charcoal is gained from coconut shells, a renewable raw material. Activated charcoal is an extremely porous material with a huge surface area. Just 1g of activated charcoal produces approx. 1000 square metres of coverage. Activated charcoal is very effective in binding bad odours so that they no longer permeate your home.Active Pearls also help to improve clumping action. This means that you can use your usual cat litter for longer. This product, as are all Biokat’s products are made in Germany.

Didn't see a difference
It has no smell which is good, but it does not help with cat smell as well. Used a little in the begging and then tried a bit more every time. Nothing changed

Absorbs smells well
My 4 month old kittens have not had any issues with this. It absorbs smells very well and living in a small apartment, the difference is very clear when I use it vs when I don't. Urine and poop smells have massively reduced!

OK not strong smell
It a large container it was not strong but it was okay the other one they sell I found better which is a smaller container but stronger smell depends on what you want it did its job

Biokats Active Pearls.
I have been using this with the Biokat litter for a while now. So glad you can buy it here. I find it excellent. My house is quite open planned so no where to hide the litter. Molly is a older cat. She is fussy about her litter tray. I remove her bowl movements, straight away. The rest daily. I sprinkle over the, Biokat litter, after cleaning the clumps out, everyday. It works for me. I recommend...

The litter lasts longer between changes.
I use Biokat's micro unscented litter, and a bag used to last me around 5-6 weeks. With some of this sprinkled in every time I refill the litter box not only has the smell lessened, but the clumps are even better formed, and the litter itself is lasting over a week longer. This product goes a very long way, a pack will last over 6 months for us.

No smell
An excellent odour destroyer. I had to mix it with another brand which has pleasant scent. Although I must add that my cats were reluctant to enter the tray because of the black granules so they look frightened and suspicious. Mixing it with the litter granules did the trick.

Very good!
I use Biokat’s Diamond care classic 54 days clumping litter and while I’m waiting for the liquids to harden I sprinkle some of this on top and it really does remove any smells.
