Great for my boy with sensitive stomach

My boy has allergies & bowl problems and I was recommended this by the vet. The only thing I do wish is they did more flavours, but he handles it well. Thank you

Hill's Prescription Diet Gastrointestinal Biome

I am endlessly happy about the production of this food! Our little tomcat suffered from diarrhoea right from the start... the examinations by the vet didn’t lead to any treatable diagnosis. With this feeding, he started passing completely normal stools after just a few days! ~ "All is well!"

Works well for my boy with allergies & health conditions

I was recommended this along side many others to try as my little one suffers with allergens, we tried gastrointestinal pouches, all different brands, then Hills ZD however this was always out of stock, then the vet told me that Biome may be an option as it isn’t “hydrolysed” which is what vets said we should be so strict about when it comes to food, but it has shown good results with cats with similar conditions as my boy. We’ve been on this for about 4 months now & he’s doing really well. :)

Prescribed by the vet

The Hills Biome has helped our cat with severe digestive issues. Switching to the food took a bit of time before it was accepted.

Hill's Prescription Gastrointestinal Biome

My cat try it for the first time and doesn't like it

Helped my boy's poops

My boy has chronic diarrhoea and urinary crystals. He needed to switch from RC Gastrointestinal to address the crystals. He couldn't tolerate Hills's C/D urinary care (gave him the runs) so the vet suggested this instead. Within 24 hours his stools firmed. Time will tell if it helps dissolve some of his crystals too. Also cheaper than RC. V happy :)

My tomcat loves it.

Recommended by my vet, the product is very good.

My tomcat had blood in his stool, and after the examination, the vet prescribed the above-mentioned food. He really liked the food, and since then, he hasn’t had any problems at all. Eats it happily—highly recommended!

Unfortunately, it isn't eaten.

Our cat really enjoys the Biome dry food, and he finally no longer has soft stools or diarrhoea. Since he also likes wet food, I decided to try these pouches. He ate the first portion, but unfortunately, now he won’t touch it anymore. I’ll give the tins a try next—maybe he’ll like those.

Meh

My cat has problems with his kidneys and pancreas. Unfortunately, he only accepted one pouch. The rest of the box went to the animal shelter. I find the food too dry. No surprise with only 4.5% fat. It can't be helped. Unfortunately, there's hardly any sauce in it (which would surely improve acceptance), and diluting it with water is only possible if you mash the food well. But that risks watering down the flavour. I recommend buying individual pouches to try out first instead of a whole box.

Good acceptance

Our tomcat enjoys eating this food, even though he's not a fan of chicken or the "ragout" style. With other products, he rejected them after a short time – but he's been having this food for 2 months now. His health issues have also improved, so we're more than satisfied with the food.
