Feeding guide

Feeding recommendation:
Feringa Single Meat Menu is a complete wet food for adult cats. The feeding recommendations are guidelines and should be adjusted to suit your cat's individual needs. Young cats should be weighed regularly, and the food quantity adjusted if necessary.
Serve at room temperature and please ensure your cat always has fresh drinking water available. Refrigerate once opened.

Could Do Without The Lumps

My 2 cats that can tolerate chicken enjoy this food. In the 800g tins it is quite economical. I freeze portions as I usually mix it with more expensive brands to try and keep costs down. My main criticism is the lumps of offal (kidneys?). I resent having to 'carve' my cat food up into small slivers (yes, you need a knife and fork for the job - you cannot just mash); it goes against the premise of tinned food being convenient. At 0.98% Phosphorus DMB, can be used sparingly for my CKD cat.

Good for years, won't be touched anymore

I don’t know what’s causing it. For years, I’ve been buying this food for my two tomcats. One of them has always been a bit picky but usually ate it happily. The other one eats pretty much anything you put in front of him ;). Now, they both barely touch Feringa, if at all. They’d rather go hungry. I feel like this has been the case since the cans started looking different. Not just on the outside, but has something changed on the inside too?

Our Baghi loves the Single Meat Rabbit variety.

We were very surprised when we opened the tin. The food doesn’t have a strong smell, is firm but not too firm, and nicely moist. Our big tomcat inhaled the first plate and licked it clean. However, our little gourmet wasn’t convinced. We’re now hoping that the trip to the litter box won’t lead to any unpleasant surprises. With other well-known brands, the cats always ended up with diarrhoea.

MAC's and Mjamjam always get completely polished off, but this brand/variety "Chicken with Pumpkin & Catnip" is unfortunately barely touched. Out of 3 cats, only 1 ate it, and sadly not very much either.

Only this left

This was the only food that managed to beat the spring hormones and get the cat to the bowl. However, she still won’t touch fish, even here. The food is also tricky with the "hoovers" who usually like cheap food, as there’s probably too little sugar and grain in it for them. For your money, you get real meat here in complete food quality. Pure Rabbit

Ordered due to the relatively low iodine content in the mixed trial pack, the rabbit variety was a real gamble – this type of meat is *actually* considered inedible by my little furball – but here it seems to taste good and even smells pleasant to the human. Happily and definitely ordering again.
