My cat will lick sauce of 99% of the wet foods I get him, and leave the rest! This Applaws product, however, oh my goodness, is more than heaven to him. Popping off that top, you see fresh prawns, and flaked fish. I had difficulty not eating it myself. My cat purrs and has his tail right up, and then he eats it really loudly. He loves this stuff, empty bowl. Truly so happy, my cat finally had a good meal.

Teddy loves seaweed
our boy Teddy loves this brand, but especially the seaweed.
We always order in bulk as he loves it and this is the only place we can find it

Not a complete meal
This product contains rice which cats dont need and is OK for a snack meal but not complete.

My fur babies go crazy for this stuff!
My two maine coon kittens were on a very expensive brand of raw food that the breeder suggested I purchase when I took them home with me. I was looking out for a good quality cheaper alternative (but still with a good % of meat) and this really did the job! My fur babies sprint to their feeding area when they know its dinner time and gobble this right up! Will definitely continue purchasing! :)

My.cat hated the tuna.
My cat refused outright after licking it once and she is not a fussy cat at all. It also really, really smells.

pity it has rice in it
Our cat loves it, but he's had some (very distressing and expensive) problems with his teeth, which are vet says is caused by the sticky residue left by the addition of starch - in this case rice - to the cat food. So no more Applaws for him.

My cats are obsessed with this food
We have six cats, ranging in age from 1 to 18 years. They don't agree about much, but they are obsessed with this food, which they get as a treat. And I can't really blame them. The tuna, for instance, looks worryingly similar to something a human would happily eat. This food isn't cheap, but the quality of the ingredients means it's reasonable value. I would recommend this stuff to cheer up any cat who has a poor appetite, is fussy or generally needs a boost.

life saver !
my underweight failure to thrive kitten turned out to have a food allergy, probably lactose intolerance. After trying a variety of foods(most of which made him sick) we came across applaws and never looked back. He particularly likes the ocean fish and has one 70g tin a day to supplement his hills science plan biscuits.
five years later, and hes loving it as much as ever. its worth paying the price to watch him lap it up and love it. the two dogs try there best to lick his whiskers afterwards.

Vanished in seconds
We just have our 1 year old car a tin as part of a free trial pack - he wolfed it down and is asking for more.

Cats love it
Yes, the cats love it, BUT it is not a complete food it is just a complimentary food and as such is not adequate for constant feeding so you need to use this in conjunction with a complete food.

Our kitten loves the tuna one
Our kitten refuses to eat and wet food apart from this the tuna one! He has literally turned his nose up and everything apart from this. It's not like normal wet food, this is literally tuna in a tin. Will be ordering again soon as he loves it so much,

Use a can opener
One of our cats is very fussy and a diet of any of the fish-based wet Applaws plus any dry Applaws is the only one she will reliably eat. The ringpull on the can leaves a rim that makes it hard to get all the food out, so I always open with a can opener.

Both my cats love this
One of my cats has a skin allergy although I've not been able to fully identify all the triggers. This food seems to be fine for him though & both him & his brother gobble it up every time!
It does seem to vary (I buy the tuna & cheese variety) in consistency between batches with some more watery than others & some with yellow cheese vs White & some with bigger chunks of both tuna & cheese than others.
All in all a good complementary food along with a complete dry food & not bad value for the quality when you buy in bulk.

Perfect for fussy eaters
My cat suffers from IBS and is a very fussy eater. These cans are the perfect alternative to the "boring" dietary food she normally has and does not affect her condition.

Nothing but the best
My Beldaran will eat nothing but fish based wet food currently, and loves all but the tuna and cheese. She's such a fussy kitty that she'll not eat any flakes of tuna unless it's under an inch in size. I'm glad to say that the flakes in each tin are almost perfect with barely a to big a chunk for me to break up. Highly recommend, such good quality and no added nasties.

A good tasty treat but not complete.
Applaws is a nice treat that my Norwegian forest cat and Abyssinian really enjoy but both the pouches and tins are not complete . If you look on the back of the tins you will see that the ingredients are pure free range meat with broth and no added vitimans or taurine which is what makes it complementary. If you wanted your cats meals to be complete you could of course feed dry food alongside the applaws.

The best wet cat food.
Applaws is the only wet food our cats will consistently eat. We have tried other brands just for variety and the cats will only eat them for a week or two so we always end up back on Applaws. In the 4 years since we got our cats I have never had a single tin of Applaws that didn't seem top quality, it is always 100%. We always buy the 24-tin saver packs because they are the best value. The only slight downside to Applaws wet food is that it isn't a 'complete' food so we have to make sure the cats also eat complete dry food too, which can occasionally be difficult. Overall I would recommend Applaws wet food to everyone simply because the cats do love it. A+++

Sachets are complementry, small tins and dry is complete
My cat has been very poorly with hyperthyroid and I looked for a better food after this and finding a piece of metal in a sachet of Whiskers food. She has had radioiodine treatment but has positively thrived on both the treatment and the good food. She looks so healthy after 3 weeks of it, her coat is gleaming and put on much needed weight & muscle. At first I only found the pouches but then discovered they were only complimentary food but when I visited pets at home I found senior complete tins and complete dry food. All my cats LOVE this food and I would highly recommend it.

Brilliant
My 12 week old kitten who is usually a bit cautious of new foods went nuts for this! Ate half a tin straight away. If only it came in bigger tins!
