The aniseed gives the sand a fresh smell, it’s dust free and environmentally friendly.Please note: the 15kg product consists of 3 x 5kg bags.

Best bird sand!

My four zebra finches and I are very happy with this sand. It smells wonderfully of aniseed, doesn’t create dust, and is packed with minerals. They love pecking at it and bathing in it. I’ve been buying products from Versele Laga for many years now – and I’ve always been very satisfied with them.

Bird grit
I normally just use newspaper for my budgies cage bedding, but this time round I thought I would try this grit. My budgies seem to like it as I have seen them on the floor pecking at it. It also smells very nice and keeps the cage more clean.

Very satisfied

My 10 budgies love this sand.
My ten budgies go crazy for this sand. It's a bit more expensive, but it doesn't create dust and smells really fresh! If I buy a cheaper sand, none of my little hookbills will go near it :)) I also always put some grit in a separate dish!
