Our wee pup Fergus needed a new collar, and we saw this Hunter collar in red and had to get it. It's a little big as he's a pup, but he'll grow into it and it's very comfy right now. Really good quality, nice and thick and good value for money. Would 100% recommend.

I bought this collar for my Bouvier puppy. It's pretty and very sturdy! Excellent clasp, opens effortlessly and closes securely again. A solid product – I’d love to have it later as a larger collar!

After almost two years, the fur on my dog's neck looks broken and matted, which is probably due to this collar or nylon collars in general. It's a shame really, as the collar was very durable, easy to clean, and the click fastener is just so practical. I've now ordered him one made of leather and hope that his fur will recover.

My 4 had these and the fastener flaked . One fastener rotted another would not undo. Always thought hunter collars were good but I don't think it's the case. Bought the plastic fastener one and one of those broke fortunately when they were playing in garden not when I was walking them on lead. So hunter collars I won't be buying again.

I used this as a puppy collar for my Jagdterrier. Really, I prefer leather collars, but only switch over, once a dog is fully grown. But for an over-exuberant hunting dog, regular fabric collars are not much use, especially during the initial training stages. I've had to throw lesser models out after only a couple of weeks. It can be adapted for size a lot. My terrorist wore it from 7 weeks to 8 month old and it's still in 1 piece.

I love these collars and have had three for my springer BUT the clasps do deteriorate if exposed to water - and with a water and mud loving spaniel this is often! The last one I had seized up and we had to expand it to its longest adjustment and prize it off over Molly's head as it wouldn't release. Such a shame as it looks lovely but Hunter need to reconsider the quality of the metal clasp.

Bought this for our Golden Retriever. Looked great initially, but after a couple of months of swimming in the sea the silver coating had all peeled off and the clasp had corroded. Gone back to collars with the black plastic clasps.

In use for over two years now, and the collar still works perfectly. I'm only buying a new one because it doesn't look as nice anymore and Christmas is coming soon.

The silver coating on the clasp started peeling off after a short time! The rest is sturdy.

I used to be very enthusiastic about this product until recently. Unfortunately, our dog lost his collar along with the tax tag after just 4 months. Really frustrating, so I consider the clasp to be a weak point.

We've been using this collar daily for our retriever for 3 years now. Even in water, it doesn't stretch. The clasp is brilliant and super sturdy. We also use the matching lead every day, and both are regularly washed in the washing machine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!!!!

Great collar, easy to adjust and secure, with a sturdy metal buckle. It looks very stylish and is also easy to wash. Brilliant piece.

The collar, just like the Hunter lead, is excellent. We bought both for our Sam. The clasp is super sturdy and withstands Sam's constant pulling. We've never had to adjust the size, as it has never loosened, even after swimming. Great price... We'll definitely buy it for our new Labrador puppy as well. SIMPLY BRILLIANT!!!!

Very satisfied. My pug had chewed through the same collar with a black plastic buckle, so I decided to buy the one with the aluminium buckle. Everything is great, and the material is soft!

I've had this collar for surely 4 years now, and it just won't wear out. Not even during hunting use. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Super collar. I've had it for my Labrador male for 2 years now. It's been through everything so far – lots of swimming, rolling around in mud, and so on. The clasp is great too; it's held up really well so far.

I ordered the collar for my Labrador bitch. Excellent quality. The clasp holds up really well, as my dog only pulls on the lead. So I can only recommend it.

Have had ours for over a year now and it's still strong and solid. Our dog weighs 55kilos and the metal fastener and loop haver never let us down. It's been washed in the washing machine and the red colour is still bright. Have bought another as a spaire now. Would highly recommend.
