I find the tunnel quite impractical because it can be hung up in various ways. Our rats mostly ignore it. Every now and then they play with the chains, and then the holder (the yellow one here) falls off. Maybe that's why they don't go inside.

The tube comes apart easily. Our ladies have already had one or two unintended falls because of it. It's nice that it can be separated for cleaning, but that's exactly where the problem lies. The tube was part of our cage setup when we bought the cage, so maybe we just ended up with a "Monday product".

I thought I was doing something good for my female rats with this. Fixing it to the cage ceiling was super easy, and the tunnel is of good quality, but unfortunately, it’s not really being used. One of the rats, I think, hasn’t even discovered it, and the other one had her paws inside, but since it wobbles, she quickly got out again and, I believe, hasn’t touched it since. Such a shame about the money.

I bought this tunnel for my rats a few months ago, and to this day, they somehow can't seem to make use of it, which really surprises me. Even when I put pieces of their cosy blanket inside, the tunnel doesn't seem any more appealing to them. :(
