Pet Carrier Freedom with Side Extension - Black & Grey

Perfect size for taking my small 8kg Maine Coon to the vets. It’s long and wide enough for him to comfortably lie in. It’s clearly not high enough for him to walk about and undergo vigorous exercise in, but just right for short transportation. Haven’t taken him out yet so can’t speak about how intelligent he is at unzipping himself.

This is a great carrier. Lightweight but also sturdy. The side extension is a great idea. I left it out to let my cat explore and she went to sleep in it so that's a definite positive review from Izzy the cat. I thought this was also good value.

This carrier is perfect for our Siamese who is overweight, unusually large for his breed, and an anxious traveller. It feels very sturdy, it is easy to carry over the shoulder even with his weight. The main cabin is mostly covered, limiting his exposure to potentially stressful stimuli, but is still well ventilated; the length is very generous and allows him to lay down comfortably. The side door is great for access at the vet, the side cabin is useful for food and water during longer trips.

It's very good quality, really worth its price. It's also big enough for my two guinea pigs that have a lot of space there, would be perfect for a cat or even a small dog.

I've had this for a while now, I wanted it for the extendable section, as I have another extendable carrier I really like. This one is quite long and narrow, which seems an odd shape, but is sturdy and well made. I would like it to open at the top as well, for extracting cats, but that's a minor issue. I also find the small carry handle a bit awkward, I prefer the carriers with longer double straps, but as long as the pet isn't too heavy or wriggly it should be fine.

Having seen this on Ebay and been stunned at the price, Zooplus is excellent value. The carrier is well made and lightweight yet foldable in its own pouch when not in use. Three guinea pigs very content to travel as they feel secure and comfortable. Carry straps ensure you can also secure with the seat belt in the car. The added functionality of a side opening is great. Very pleased.

I've had mine for 2 years now and it's brilliant! My g.pigs use it to go to the vets, move house, go on holiday, or just wait patiently in it while their pen is being cleaned out. It's also been a hospital when one has been ill. They really like it and like going in it which I'm really pleased about. And it's stood up to the use really well. Would not be without it and highly recommend it as a pen carrier.

Absolutely in love with this! Purchased on a whim and was taken in by the thought of the little extending part. Was really impressed by how fast it came to start with, the little bag it folds into is really handy but for a product that folds away I'm still really impressed by how strong and sturdy it is! Love all the features and especially the size, I have three rabbits so needed more than the one single carrier I have and I think this might fit my two girls in together :) just what I wanted, over the moon with this.

I ordered this as getting the rabbits out of their carrier at the vet is always a problem but I wasn't sure whether it would be any good, so was prepared that I might have to send it back. It arrived within a couple of days of ordering and it seems great. I haven't used it yet with the rabbits but I have had it out and messed around with the different zips, pockets, etc. The carrier is much bigger than I was expecting, and will fit two minilops in with more room than they have in their current carrier. There are various pockets to keep bits in (like treats), a fleecy liner for the bottom and a shoulder strap. The side opening should make it much easier to get reluctant rabbits out and I love the way the side drops down so we can let the rabbits have a bit more room and even eat some grass if we are somewhere where we can't let them out immediately (you can either have the extra area completely secure with netting, or you can unzip it and pin the cover directly to grass - this wasn't clear in photos and was one of the things I was concerned about). Really pleased with this - great price and looking forward to using it.

Comfortable transport with two cats: one in a plastic carrier and the other in this shoulder bag. Plus, there's the option for them to stretch their legs. The bottom part is very sturdy and stable. I definitely recommend it.

I chose this product because I didn't want a typical "cage" made of plastic and metal. The bag is sturdy and spacious, and so far it's handled the occasional snag and scratching from my tomcat. I always keep it out and accessible at home, which is another reason I didn't want a standard carrier. Inside, there's also a removable plush insert, which probably makes it feel even more comfortable and cosy. I'm satisfied and would recommend it to others.

Perfect carrier for my mini Teckel, I bought it to travel with her by train and the quality is really good.

Nice bag. I’m not sure it’s suitable for the cat weight mentioned in the sales “pitch”. I think it’s a bit too soft and unstable. But my lovely cat likes to sleep in it when the front “awning” is open.
