Not suitable for a hamster

This cage is nowhere near big enough for a hamster. They need lots of bedding so they can create tunnels, lots of hides, and no levels because they will fall off. All a hamster will do in this cage is chew the bars to try to get out.

The cage is not suitable for a hamster

A cage is not suitable as a hamster's home, because research shows they have very poor depth perception, which means they can get injured climbing on the bars. Their teeth can also break because of the bars. A terrarium with a 20–30cm layer of bedding allows hamsters to fulfil their natural need to burrow.
