Lots of dust and wood chips, not suitable for hamsters. Hamsters can often get respiratory infections from this dust and can get seriously hurt by the large wood chips. I’ll buy Allspan German Horse as soon as I finish this bag and I’ll never buy this again.

I've been using this bedding for a while because it used to be very absorbent and low in dust. However, the last three packs were so dusty that after cleaning out the cage, I looked like I'd been powdered, kept coughing, and the whole room with the rodent enclosure was completely covered in dust. That's unacceptable in a normal living space, and even in a dedicated rodent room it's still really annoying. I've ordered one more pack now. If this one is just as dusty, that'll definitely be the last time. It's unbearable and a health hazard.
