My gerbils absolutely love this bedding, and so do I. It's super easy to spread, and the gerbils have so much fun digging and burrowing in it. I only clean the terrarium every three weeks... truly fantastic bedding. Five stars from me!

The bedding is very loosely packed and absolutely dust-free. I use it for my Dzungarian dwarf hamster. I needed one pack for my terrarium (approx. 80 x 50, cage "Falco"). The bedding height is about 20cm. However, I won’t be buying it again in the future because my hamster loves digging tunnels. Due to the loose consistency, these keep collapsing, and the little one ends up completely buried. I might try using regular bedding at the bottom, like Chipsi or Allspan, and then adding a layer of this linen bedding on top to keep any dust down below. That way, if my little one wants to lie on top, she’ll have something soft, and she can also carry it into her burrow if she wants to. Unfortunately, the perfect bedding doesn’t seem to exist in the perfect size for me. For my guinea pigs, I use Allspan in the large pack, but that’s too much for a small hamster. Chipsi isn’t quite as dust-free as Allspan, which is why I had high hopes for this linen bedding. Maybe a mix of the two would be perfect for me. In any case, I won’t give up on finding the best bedding for my little lady :D

I always used this bedding for my dwarf hamster. It's soft and doesn't produce dust, and digging through it is no problem. I don't like using it as much for my guinea pigs. Firstly, because the consumption is higher, and it becomes too expensive for me. Secondly, I find that it doesn't absorb larger amounts of urine as well as conventional wood shavings.

I bought this last week and was rather sceptical. I was completely changing out my guinea pigs three times a week but this stuff has revolutionised that! I did a spot clean yesterday but the bedding is still OK, dry and clean after five days. Worth every penny in my mind. Great product and speedy delivery!

The bedding was quickly accepted by my furry friends because it's nice and soft and doesn't prick their paws. They didn't sneeze from it either, as rats are often very sensitive to dust. All in all, a very good bedding.

I've been buying this bedding for years and wouldn't choose anything else! My rabbits love it. It's really soft and, most importantly, dust-free.

I was very surprised at how soft the bedding was. At first glance, it looked like it might be prickly. I bought it for our heavily pregnant guinea pig lady because she spent a lot of time lying around during her pregnancy, so she wouldn’t develop pressure sores and the babies would have a nice soft landing. It’s very easy to spread in the cage as it’s not so tightly compressed. However, I have to deduct one star for the following reasons: 1. The price is quite high. 2. When the pigs play and run around, they quickly scatter the bedding, and the bare cage floor becomes visible. 3. Urine quickly seeps through to the bottom, and the cage gets dirty very fast (on the floor). For the last two points, I use regular bedding (the kind you can buy in any supermarket) and put some underneath. It does cost a bit more, but the animals have it extra soft, can’t throw it around anymore, and it binds urine and odour really well.

It's absolutely amazing!!!!!! Have you ever seen how great the gerbils dig around in it and build their landscapes???? I had never seen anything like it before. Thumbs up, really, really fantastic.

Very soft and pleasant to the touch. However, there is still a smell, albeit perhaps less noticeable, and the price is high. We're only using it to line the guinea pig cage's pee corners.

This bedding delivers on its promises. I would buy it again and again. Every other bedding fails after just a few hours in our mice's home.

Finally, a litter that hardly creates any dust and is really soft. Perfect for snuggling and digging around in!

I like using the Bed O'Linum bedding for my hamsters' sleeping areas. They seem to love it there and snuggle right into it. The bedding feels wonderfully soft and gentle, with no sharp pieces at all. When you run your hands through it, it feels smooth, almost silky, and slightly "cool." So, it's particularly suitable for the warmer months when cotton bedding might be too warm – in my opinion, the bedding has similar properties to linen clothing for humans when it comes to temperature regulation. Another plus: it practically has no smell and is extremely low in dust. AND: this soft bedding doesn’t stick much to my teddy hamster’s fur, as it’s simply too smooth for that. This, in turn, is great for sensitive hamster eyes. Both of mine seem to be just as thrilled with the bedding in their little house as I am. I can only recommend it. However, I wouldn’t use this bedding for the entire enclosure, as tunnels and burrows don’t hold up well in it – for that, you’re better off with the wonderful Hugro hemp bedding, perhaps mixed with something else.

This bedding is really great overall. It binds odours well and is very low in dust, which is especially beneficial for animals with chronic respiratory issues. However, a real downside is that it’s not possible for the animals to dig stable tunnels that last, as these collapse fairly quickly due to the bedding’s low "adhesion". It’s therefore recommended to mix in plenty of hay, toilet paper rolls, small branches, and possibly other types of bedding underneath so the animals can build a proper tunnel system.

I originally bought this bedding for my gerbils. However, my daughter and her friend used it for the rabbits, mixed with hemp bedding and some regular wood shavings. What can I say? Brilliant! It binds odours, doesn’t scatter around as much, and the dust formation has also decreased. I now always use this mix combo for the rabbits.
