Great, till one of the stairs broke
Great set of stairs to aid my Frenchie getting on and off our high bed, saves her jumping down and hurting herself. A bit awkward to assemble on my own and the plywood split a bit round the nails. Only had them a few weeks and the bottom step snapped in half under her one night. She’s less than 10kg and she’s fairly delicate in going down and doesn’t bound down. Will have to see if we can get a replacement board or this is going to be money down the drain.
Awkward assembly
If you follow the instructions, it is impossible to keep it steady during assembly. After several attempts, I put the large board partly on 1st in order to keep it steady and square.
Perfect for my arthritic cat
I have four sets of the the smaller steps - my girl now has steps up and down to everything she used to jump up and down from, which is so much better for her & I don’t have to see her struggle. I love the silver velvet and it’s the best material cover I could find. It was easy to put together, I didn’t have any issues with the chipboard & prefer it to the plastic steps you see. The covers are a bit tight putting back on after a wash, so take care not to pull too hard or the zip may tear.
Absolute rubbish broken chipboard
I have just tried to fit these steps together. Impossible as chipboard breaks away as you try to slot pieces together. Should not be allowed to sell this product , I have totally wasted my well earned money. It is now in the bin.
Elderly cat lives them
Bought these as my 17 year old cat was struggling to jump onto the sofa. Despite my husbands skepticism she took to them immediately and used them constantly
Good quality but too small
I bought this for my bunnies who I have made makeshift stairs out of cushions and boxes for up to my bed. I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this product. However, the stairs are just so slim and the corners are very sharp, even in the fleece. I had to move it as I was worried about them falling down the stairs or knocking themselves on the corners. I would be more comfortable if each step was as thick as, say, the stairs in a house.
Fell to pieces
Was very upset, I rescued a very arthritic cat and was really looking forward to getting these so he could climb up to sofa to look out of the window. The chip board they are made from is cheap and nasty and just split when I was screwing it together. Absolute waste of money
Great quality
Our Cavapoo was very frustrated watching our other dogs on the sofa.. now he has his own set of steps! Much better quality than some of the other pet steps out there. Wood frame instead of metal with snug well fitting fur cover, a really well made item. Really pleased with these and great value for money.
Ditched the cover & painted them for my Bunny
Assembled within minutes and great size for my rabbit, a little too small for my shih tzu in my opinion. I didn't use the soft cover and instead painted the MDF and used DC Fix sticky back plastic for grip.
