Kibble too large
For cats with dental problems. Thought I was doing right ordering these for my cat who struggles to crunch biscuits. However out of all the Royal Canin I’ve bought over the years these are the biggest kibble I’ve seen. It makes no sense why they are so big for cats with dental problems. To me it is defeating the object. Waste of money. Won’t be buying again.

Vets recommendation
My little puss loves it - she will always eat it first and it doesn't last long. Vet recommended this because she is just starting the signs of dental plaque ( + 1 other but having done some research decided upon Royal Canin). Now she won't let me look in her mouth so I'm not going to know whether it is working until I go back.

Cats loves these but...
My two cats love these. The younger one chomps away at them and you can hear that he's definitely getting a dental work out. The older cat (he's only 3) has tartar and gingivitis and is the one I bought this product for - doesn't chew them at all. One bite if lucky.
I understand that there is some calcium binding thing going on, but honestly, at double the price of his normal cat biscuits, I wonder if it is worth it for his dental health. I have bought two bags so far but no more.

Cat loves it but it won’t fit in auto feeder
Great product in terms of palatability and seems to freshen my cat’s breath, but unfortunately it’s not compatible with most auto feeders due to the large size.
Cat just swallows them whole, no chewing
Nothing wrong with them as food, but my cat can just swallow them whole. Since the entire point is to chew, one star. Dentalife,he has to chew a little bit, but they come in small packs so pricey. Thought this bigger pack would be a saving,but no.

Good Food for the teef
One of my cats got told by the vet his teeth were looking a bit not great, and said vet recommended some dental biscuits that are larger in size and helps, I guess scrape and clean their teeth some. Puddle has really enjoyed these and so does his brother, we call them 'Teef' and label their jars as such. This is a favourite of our cats. They smell good, moist almost so they're not crazy dry which must taste good. I've not seen problems with Puddle's teeth since, no complaints from any of us.
Food too small.
I was dissappointed to find the pieces are smaller than dental expert. I thought it was the same !!!!. My cats been sick alot because of not chewing it properly. !!! Dental experts much better.
No resealable strip.
Purchased this product only to be disappointed by the lack of a resealable strip in the bag, bought many products before from RC, all with the resealable strip. These strips obviously keep the product fresh. I contacted RC and was advised "they are looking at ways to introduce a strip to the product, however this will take time and to use an air tight container." These are already expensive for the size of bag and then to go out and buy a container, I don't think so, would not recommend.

Really working!
I've been buying RC Dental for many years, started after Charlie had to have his teeth cleaned at the vets 6 years ago. Since then he is on the Dental dry food mixed with another one that we change and his teeth stay lovely clean. I'm sure Dental food used on a regular bases helps to keep Charlies teeth white and healthy. He is a greedy cat and would eat any food so I am not sure what a fussy cat would say about the taste... He doesn't mind the big size of the kibbles either as he's a big cat
Favourite flavour!
Our cats have a diet of various Royal Canin dry food but this is their favourite. They seem to enjoy the bigger kibbles.

Cats now don't need dental care
My cats used to need dental care, since changing to Royal Canin their teeth are healthy and my vet bills lower.
Tasty and good for cleaning teeth
Our 2 cats love this and so does the handsome stray that comes most days (just been adopted but still visits for his favourite food!). So it's a win win all round!

Useful dental care product
We usually give it to our cat in the evenings, and she’s already waiting for it—she absolutely loves it and crunches it up nicely; you can hear her even two rooms away. Royal Canin Dental Care
I need to make our madam chew (kibble), so I prefer to buy bigger ones. I think she likes them so far. I used to buy Royal for our first British Shorthair too – they’re such picky eaters. The stools are nice “little nuggets” without any strong smell, so I guess it’s good.

Preference
They pick out these kibbles from the mix. I actually combine them with others. Only when the big ones are finished do they move on to the other (smaller, different flavour) kibbles.
A jackdaw also regularly comes to snack and he/she clearly prefers the “dentals” too.

Popular with the cats, decent content
We buy these as treats because they're popular with the cats. They love the big crunchy pellets. I would like a higher meat content, so it's not our first choice. Also, couldn't RC make resealable bags for their large packs? Zip-lock or velcro—something?
