This is listed as fresh meat, but it is actually biscuit, albeit grain free. It's like dried kibble, which my dog is allergic to, I feel I have been ripped off by misleading advertising, and I would not have bought it had I known it was kibble. Not impressed. My advice - avoid!

Been using this brand since my dog was a pup and been so happy with it, but in the last 6 months or so have noticed lots of issues with certain types that we used for years going out of production seemingly. That's why we've tried this one and we are not happy, can tell it's lower quality - so checked the ingredients and they are starting a new recipe with this that is not very good quality! 41% fresh meat to 25%, switching to more processed meats etc.

Started the old product for my dog, he loved them as treats without any stomach upset. The new product has sub-standard and cheaper ingredients, which make a sensitive stomach unable to function in a normal manner. Would love to buy a bulk of the older products if they are available. Review written with due regard for objectivity and openness.

My dog has been on this food for over 10yrs, you have changed the recipe, she has allergies to peas & legumes so this food is no longer suitable. Difficult to find a suitable food for her & when I do she turns her nose up at it. Sorry Zooplu not at all impressed with your money saving cuts.

We tried this after my collie who is 2 and very fussy nearly passed away we couldn’t get her to eat anything and she was very poorly I gave her this and she at it immediately she has been on it since Nov 2025 and is now a health weight and still enjoying her meals even demanding more food which she has never done

My dogs have been enjoying this variety for a number of years, Recipe has recently changed and it now gives one of my dogs upset stomach and the other won't eat it 😒

My husky dog enjoys this food. At 14 and a half she is very fit for her age and not overweight. I mix it with half a can of wet food of the same brand with a multivitamin and some joint supplements. She scoffs the lot !

Hi all, I personally haven't bought this food, but almost did. This brand seems to include currants in their dog food which, as far as I know, are toxic to dogs.

My dog loves to crunch on this grain free kibble, he doesn't go wild for it but he enjoys it

I bought this food as it was advertised as semi moist. This food is hard and crunchy and my dog will not eat it. I am very disappointed

Even our fussy cavapoo adored this food despite some being huge for her. Both she and our GSP ate both this and the salmon ones with relish.

I have 2 German Shepherds to feed and the price has jumped up significantly.... Will now be looking for at other dry food as this is unaffordable. Shame really.

Why has this become so expensive? My dog loves it but I'm now forced to look for new dry food brand. So disappointing.

I’ve been feeding this to my two large German shepherds but as the price has increased by a huge amount, I now cannot afford it anymore and am buying now from my local pet store a much cheaper version which according to all about dog food website is as good nutrientlty as wolf of wilderness!

Have always bought this food as it’s affordable and good quality but disappointed it’s jumped up in price so much. With 2 large dogs to feed it’make’s a big difference.

I have always fed my two dogs, a seven year old Yorky and a fourteen year old mini Daschund a really good quality food. I decided to try this and my dogs changed to it with no problems.

Since I've been giving my Bernese Mountain Dog this food, her problems with digests have luckily disappeared. We are impressed with every flavour of this food!

Together with salmon oil, this keeps my large (44kg) dog in very good shape.

My Labrador used to have stomach problems regularly and in December we were taking her to the vet often. We then changed her to grain-free food. I ordered the trial pack of this food because of the really good reviews and she doesn't have any problems anymore. I'll definitely order again.

I wanted to switch my dog to a grain-free food because he has a sensitive stomach. I decided to try Wild Hills because of the good reviews and the convincing product description. My dog is doing really well on it. He also gets wet food too. I can highly recommend Wolf of Wilderness!

I was very satisfied with Wolf, I always give duck because my dogs can only have one protein source and absolutely can't tolerate chicken. Now, to my utter surprise, I see that the kibble has changed and now contains chicken as well as duck :-( Why is this happening? And also sending the other kibble without any warning. Now I'm stuck with two dogs who have really itchy ears again. And one unopened bag left that I can't use anymore. Poor service.

I use them as treats for my English Bulldog. They’re the perfect size and he digests them really well along with his regular kibble. We’re very happy with these kibbles!! :)

Only 3 stars, and that's because this new formula doesn't work for large dogs... they can't chew it, they just swallow it since the pellets are so small. Why don't we have a choice?? I prefer the previous version, so to get it I order from Zooplus Austria.

My dog has been eating this kibble for 6 years and his coat is shiny and beautiful. It's a shame there's no zip closure anymore—now it's sealed and you can't reseal the 12kg bag.

My dog always loved these kibbles, but since the recipe changed, he won’t eat them anymore... the kibbles seem greasy and soft, and they smell bad... It’s a shame the quality has dropped so much, especially for the same price or even higher...

My dog has been eating these kibbles since he was a puppy and always finished his bowl quickly. With the new recipe, he only touches it if/when he’s really hungry. I thought he might get used to it, but even after 5 weeks it’s still the same. Also, even the packaging has changed. Before, the 12kg bags were resealable, which makes sense given the quantity. Now, there’s no way to seal them properly and the kibbles go stale.

I've found that since my dogs are small, this kibble works wonders as a treat for them, instead of the snacks they sell in supermarkets.

I receive the kibble (I’ve been buying it for years). They’ve changed the bag (it no longer has a self-seal and the plastic is less sturdy). They’ve changed the formula, reducing the percentage of fresh chicken meat to 21% (it used to be 42%). On the website it says “new formula” but when you check the ingredients, it still shows the old one (41% fresh chicken meat). ZOOPLUS: Update, please! This kibble has dropped in quality but kept the same price. Update the ingredients for the whole Wolf range!

We’ve been giving this kibble for years. We prefer to feed grain-free, which also keeps their stools nice and firm.

Nice dry food with lots of different flavours

I’ve always bought this product, but with the latest packaging redesign, the pack no longer has the zip that used to keep the product fresh. Now, once opened, it stays open and the product loses its flavour and crunchiness, especially with the larger packs, which take longer to finish.
