Super
Our vet recommended this food to us to drastically reduce the weight of one of our two dogs. I had already tried other "diet" products for her over a longer period, but unfortunately, she mostly didn’t even touch the food. She accepted the Royal Canin right from the start, and she has already lost a significant amount of weight :)

Dry-Dry Food
Unfortunately, my dogs didn’t tolerate it well.
Both ended up with rock-hard stools!
Although they accepted it quite well, I ended up mixing it with another dry food (from a different manufacturer). Since then, things have improved. I won’t be buying it again.

Super Food
My GSD bitch is spayed and unfortunately has hip dysplasia, so sports aren't really an option. We've been feeding her RC Light for a few months now, and she's finally lost weight and is maintaining it. To keep things from getting too monotonous, we add some wet food on top – just like we humans add sauce to a roast pork :-)) – and she tolerates it really well. Her coat looks great, and she's moving much more easily and is more agile. I can only recommend it.

is eaten without any fuss
Our 7-year-old neutered Bernese Mountain Dog bitch has been diagnosed with cancer and also suffers from arthritis and spondylosis. Unfortunately, she can no longer tolerate raw or cooked meat and vegetables, nor any other dry food from other manufacturers with a high meat content. A higher fat content is also not tolerated, as it causes an immediate reaction in her stomach and intestines. She eats the RC kibbles without any fuss, has hardly any more flatulence, as the RC is easily digestible. Her stool is easy to pick up. Brilliant!

Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Canine Mobility C2P+
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Canine Mobility C2P+ is highly recommended. Even though it’s a bit more expensive, the extra cost is definitely worth it. It’s a very good dry food, and my dog is always excited when he gets his tasty meals. SO REALLY RECOMMENDED!

Economical quality food
I’ve used this for several years for my lab x Great Dane who weighs 50kg. He puts weight on very easily and this feed keeps his weight under control. He also has problems with his anal glands; although the food doesn’t stop the problem it doesn’t make it worse as with other brands I’ve tried. He has the low activity amount of food as I found the normal activity caused a little weight gain. But he has plenty of energy and is very fit

Great for a 63kg fat Rottweiler
My 4 year old Rotti was 63kg at his worst. We Switched to Royal Canin Adult Maxi Light and he's a nice 55kg solid muscle and no fat belly or back. He eats it in 12 seconds flat. My 8 year old female loves it too and maintains a healthy 40kg. You can use it for training treats too. 10/10 for my pack!

Changing from Royal Canin Maxi to Maxi Light
Wilf, my wirehaired viszla is now 4 years old. When he was about 2 after him being slightly under his expected weight I wrote a review singing the praises of the Royal Canin Maxi product (see review under Gina C). He then gained weight brilliantly. We had a change in lifestyle which meant a bit less exercise for a while and he gained a little too much weight (41kg) so I tried this Light variety and its worked brilliantly. Wilf is now a beautiful 39kg, neither ribs showing or belly protruding.

Highly recommended
Hello,
my Appenzeller Sennenhund Bahman and I are thrilled. We've also raved on Facebook about how good Royal Canin is.

Thrilled
My two Newfoundland dogs (the female's normal weight is 70kg, the male's around 90kg) were quite overweight because they're naturally rather lazy, and the female is extremely greedy. Then our dog groomer recommended this food to me. The result was impressive. They lost 5 and 6kg respectively within 6 weeks. They seemed full, had a beautiful coat, and were in a great mood. And, which isn't always guaranteed with these two: they tolerated it very well.

Overweight Golden Retriever
Our 5 year old Golden Retriever was overweight and we had tried many different foods to try and get this down but have to say this food is the only one that has the desired effect. He is now so much more lively.

Excellent product
I have two sibling labradors one male one female. I started the female on Royal Canin as she was hugely overweight. After two months she had become much slimmer and her coat in superb condition. By three months she had reached her target weight. The male used to get upset stomachs regularly and I decided to put him on the same diet. He has never had a problem since and again, his coat is in great condition. They also both love it and still see it as a treat!

Very good
Our Labrador female has benefited from this food in reducing her excess weight. She loves eating it, and we’ve switched to feeding her only dry food (previously half wet and half dry food).

very good
This food helped my female Labrador to lose weight when she was overweight. She loves eating it and we've started feeding her just the dry food (she used to have a mix of dry and wet food).

excellent all rounder
Sasha our 6 year old Alsatian ( German Shepherd ) was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia, she needed an operation. For her recuperation she was to be confined to a cage, which is a concern for weight gain. I put her on to Royal Canin Maxi Light, peviously she had a typical Alsatian tum either sick or runny bum, to my delight she no longer has this. Weigh up, pay the extra or keeep cleaning up ? Ps she is recovering well 6 weeks on

Labbis are hungry
We've been feeding this food for about 3 months now. Both of them (neutered) have lost weight, but they're constantly hungry. We feed them twice a day, at 8am in the morning and around 3pm. After 2 hours, they're hungry again—it’s so frustrating.
Their stool has decreased and is very dry.

our little glutton
We’ve just ordered our fourth bag of RC Light. Our Bella, a 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog mix, was overweight because she’s incredibly greedy. After many attempts, we discovered this food. She’s slim again, agile, and her coat is shiny once more. We’re sticking with it, even though the price is quite high.
