My 8-year-old Great Dane has never had stools like he does with this dog food—before, they were always soft, but now they're perfectly firm. I've tried lots of good brands, but none compare to this one.

Very greasy, really heavy
At first it was fine, but after a few weeks my dog started having stomach problems all the time, with indigestion, complaining all night and vomiting. Also, it makes him really constipated, there's a lot of fat and not much fibre, he barely poos, just a little ball with a lot of effort. It really doesn't agree with him, I won't even be able to finish the first bag.

Great value for money
I have been feeding my senior dog Rocco dry food for a few years now and she has always tolerated it very well and enjoyed eating it. My young female dog now also gets the junior version of Rocco and she eats it and tolerates it very well too. She has no problems with digestion or anything like that. An important criterion for me was that the protein content is moderate, as it is very high in many puppy foods. The only thing I don’t like so much is the preservatives in the food.

Not good for us
This was my first time ordering the dry food, unfortunately it didn’t work for us. For the first two days it was fine, but from the third day onwards my Golden started scratching a lot, even though I mixed it with the previous, tried-and-tested food. I kept trying for about 4-5 days, but had to stop. We went back to the familiar food and the scratching stopped immediately. My dog loves the Rocco cans, no issues with those at all.
