Purizon Original Chicken with Fish Adult – Grain-free

This is a great food for the price and my 3 dogs love the taste of it and will eat it up in seconds, but it has not agreed with their guts at all to my disappointment. We tried to switch from Orijen, a relatively similar food and even with a gut reset we have had no joy! Gutted! We have had stinky farts and sloppy poos. We’ve eliminated all possibilities over 6 weeks and it sadly is the food. Don’t let this put you off though, it’s definitely worth a try and may work for your pup!

2 of my 3 dogs can't tolerate this at all, they've all had Purizon fish before and been fine. I'd recommend buying a small quantity to try first.

My 9 years old staffy never had so much problems like after this food. Farting all the time.. no chance to pick up poo... really disgusting breath .. loosing fur like never before.... disappointed

I moved my 35kg crossbreed over to this a month ago because it’s cheaper than Simpsons Premium. He’s notoriously difficult to keep weight on and loses his head if he eats anything with high carb/grain content. His poos are small, nice breath and weight gain, overall winner but he can be abit picky with it sometimes and not always clear his bowl first time which is unusual for him.

With the new bag of food, which we’d been using for quite a while, our dog started having stomach issues. Diarrhoea, vomiting. At first, we didn’t connect the dots and looked for the cause everywhere except where we should have. By process of elimination, we figured out it was the food. It’s a pity the manufacturer doesn’t clearly communicate changes in the food’s recipe – it would help many pet owners avoid a lot of trouble, and spare their pets unnecessary suffering and discomfort.

I've been buying this brand for several years and I've already noticed changes in the kibble over the years. But right now, the change is very noticeable: the colour (lighter = less fatty), lots of crumbs (the kibble crumbles), I'm starting to question the current quality. Even my dogs have noticed the difference. I used to be very satisfied, but now much less so.

The dog got diarrhoea and lost his appetite. Turns out he just doesn't want to eat this food—he has no problems with other brands. That's why I'm now looking for new food for both my cat and dog, even though we've been buying this brand for 6 years. Almost the whole 12kg bag is going in the bin.

My dog has been eating this brand of kibble for a few years now, she loves it and digests it really well. No more diarrhoea like with her previous kibble.

Since the change in the composition and size of the kibble, my dog has had daily diarrhea. I still had a bag of the larger kibble and her stools went back to normal. The problem definitely comes from the new formula of this product, with a percentage of the ingredients changed among other things. Go back to the old product. As of today, I don’t know what to do: change supplier and brand! One thing’s for sure, I won’t be buying this product again.

Very disappointed with the change in the recipe and the size of the kibble, which has been reduced by more than half! My dog used to digest them very well until now, and now he’s sick every day! Too bad, we’re switching to Orijen...

This time the food from all 4 bags I bought wasn’t good, my dogs only had soft stools from this variety and the kibble had a stronger smell than usual. I’ve bought the same variety before and never had any issues with it.

I have a little 11-year-old Yorkie with serious intestinal problems, so I chose grain-free kibble. Since I started giving her Purizon Fish, no more diarrhoea at all—she handles her two meals really well. Highly recommended.

The pellets are a good size for medium and large dogs, smell pleasant and my two dogs really enjoy eating them. However, I only feed them in the morning; in the afternoon I give my two dogs BARF. Their coats look good, the output is well-formed, smells moderate and the amount is relatively small.

My 6 dogs love these kibbles, they're not too big, just perfect for all sizes. My dogs have shiny coats, good digestion, healthy tummies, and the ingredients are excellent.
