Good for weight loss
Our Springer Spaniel was very overweight and the vet said that he needed to lose 4kg. She recommended Hill's and since feeding him the recommended amount and no other food he is nearly down to his target weight. He enjoys the food and we keep some back from his daily allowance to give as treats.

Big improvement
My dog and I had the pleasure of trying Hills dog food again. I have to say that I wholeheartedly recommend it if you want to improve your beloved pet's condition. My dog had digestive problems, often loose stools and sometimes diarrhea at night, and we didn't know what was causing it. Now, after a month, there's a significant improvement. She regularly eating this dry food and it produces firm, easy-to-clean, healthy poop. No diarrhea issues. I highly recommend it. It must taste delicious, too.

Excellent weight loss & maintenance
Excellent weight loss & maintenance food. I had a serious injury & my 8yo cocker spaniel went from 15 to 21 kg. On the advice of my vet, on this food she dropped back to 15kg and has stayed there without excessive dieting.

Excellent weight loss for my spaniel
This formula works wonders for my 9 yo working cocker spaniel. She loses around 500g every 3-4 weeks whilst on the food.

Fantastic really works!
My elderly staffy struggled to loose weight to begin with but once put on this food he has ended up loosing a whole stone so far! He went from 32.9kg to 26.4kg in the 7 months we have had him! Brilliant stuff.

My dog is a very picky (overweight) eater. We have tried so many foods for her and found ones she like did but even feeding the minimum could not shift excess weight. I was dubious about trying this but she absolutely loves this food and seems less hungry. It’s too early to see results but so far I am happy

Tried this food to reduce her weight can honestly say It does not work. Kept the amount of food For her prescribed by Hills but she still felt hungry and kept whining for more food. considering the price Hills charge for this food if it worked it could be worth it unfortunate it does not work

Excellent product
My cavalier king Charles put on weight after being sorted but after being on this food dropped 5kgs in 7 months. She still got her dentastix and the metabolic treats that complement the food and was very happy and more energetic. I saw a previous review complained their dog hadn't lost weight after 2weeks on this food. Give it a chance even humans struggle to lose weight in two weeks!!!
My Dog Is Happy With Her New Diet
We had been searching for some time for the right dog food as we found that in Hill’s Science Plan. At first we were apprehensive about size of the food pieces, but my dog loved it and couldn’t get enough. Our dog has a beautiful thick brown coat and is more energetic and is getting down to her correct weight. The health benefits of the ingredients used matches the price. I will be recommending hills to family and friends.

Brilliant
Last year our 9 year old beagle popped his cruciate ligament and underwent TPLO operation. To aid the lengthy recovery it was vital to maintain an ideal weight. This Hills prescription has proved marvellously effective and nine months on he is enjoying the food and maintaining his weight.
An unexpected advantage of this food is that the "poop" is so easy to scoop if you know what I mean

Excellent food. My dog just keep putting weight on..
My puggle female is 10 months old vets put her on this food she was 17kg and she keeps putting on weight. Don't have any doggie treats strictly this food. She does have some fruit and vegetables. Walks and run every single day. I don't know what else to do or what other foods to try..

Highly recommend
My rescue cocker spaniel Millie was 27kg the day we picked her up from HAWT just over a year ago she was like a barrel couldn't run down the garden without being out of breath. She started on this food and is now 18kg at last weigh in. Shes now healthy happy and full of energy couldn't recommend it more. Itshirts certainly worked for her.

Highly Recommend
In 16 weeks my dog has gone from over 16 kilos to 13.1 , target weight 12 , I was very sceptical but as my vet had recommend this food I thought I would give it a go. We didnt have to gradually introduce the food , although we tried but Archie was eating the Hills and leaving his old food . This food works , an thrilled with the difference in Archie , its given him a new lease of life.
Good food!
Fed this to my overweight Bassett hound and he instantly ate it dry. He tends to be quite fussy about eating his food without wet food so I was surprised to say the least! He gradually lost weight and is now 1kg away from where the vet wants him to be. The only thing I would say is that his coat seemed to be duller on this food but that's the only downside. I would reccommend this food to anyone with a slightly porky pet

I chose Hill's hoping that by going for the "premium" option, the effectiveness would match the reputation. Nope. Efficiency: ZERO. My dog didn't lose a single gram.

I’ve been using this kibble for 6 months for my overweight Golden and Sheltie.
My Golden started at 36.3kg and is now down to 31.5kg in 6 months. My Sheltie went from 15.9kg to 13.6kg. They both wait eagerly for their food, but overall I’m happy. 4 stars because the price is way too high and just keeps going up every month.
