Hill's Prescription Diet Canine j/d Joint Care with Chicken

We bought this food for my 12 years old Labrador because she started to having problems with her joints especially back legs. We thought it will help her, however she doesn’t want to touch it. She doesn’t like it at all. I don’t know what’s in that food but she would not eat it. We have to mix tuna or salmon with this food for her to lick the fish and leave the rest. It’s not normal behaviour for her especially being a Labrador she loves food. Very strange as she eats everything else.

Very easily changed over to this food and both my Golden Doodle and Labradoodle loved it!

my nine year old labrador was struggling to get up in a morning, to jump up into the car etc. we were so worried about her. Within two weeks on this food she was completely back to her normal self! she looked and acted three years younger! Positive cycle - as she was more agile she was able to run jump and do loads of her favourite things eg: diving and swimming every day. worth every penny!

Our Labradoodle has been on this food for about a year now. He has long thin legs which need protection, and we worry about him getting joint problems. He is continuing to run very, very fast keeping up with greyhounds. I would recommend this product for people with an ageing dog.

Before my dog started this food I was constantly getting comments on how shiny her coat was and in what beautiful condition. After being on this food for 7 weeks now I've seen a huge change in that, her fur is now itchy and flaky and extremely dry, in 7 years I've never had this problem and nothing else has changed apart from her diet. On the joint side of things I have seen absolutely no difference, I wasn't expecting miracles just for her to be a little less stuff which has not happened.

Jack, our Labrador, really enjoys this food and its really helped with his joint problems. He loves to run, jump and chase and this food has helped him do all of these things.

My 6 year old GSD cross had cruciate ligament operation on both legs a a young dog, showed signs of arthritis in her hips, this was recommended by my vet and she has had 3 good winters which she would normally have problems. This is a fantastic product.

Our 12 year old golden retriever started on this food after surgery for a cruciate ligament injury. The results were amazing, he came off all his medication and was like a new dog. He always found it difficult getting up even before the injury, but now he is fine apart from a bit of stiffness at times. Although it is expensive I have no hesitation in recommending this food. My Lab is getting old and it's becoming increasingly difficult for his ageing body to keep up with his young mind. I could see improvement in his mobility after about a month.

Our Golden Retriever Heidi suffers from quite extreme arthritis in her hips. Even though she's not yet six years old, X-rays showed severe degeneration of her hip joints, and she often limped after long walks. Our vet prescribed this food and the results were almost immediate. As well as losing weight, she limped much less and seemed to regain much of her youthful vitality. Yes, it costs a fortune but it's worth it to see renewed life in our dog!

With a labrador diagnosed with elbow dysplasia our vet has recommended this product to us. Our dog loves it; although to be fair he would eat anything - he is a labrador after all. Dysplasia is a condition that needs to be managed and this product with its high fish oil content seems to be working - with the added bonus that he has a lovely silky coat.

Having celebrated her 12th birthday, Fern had started to slow down and was receiving anti inflammatory tablets to help her. She was on Hills for older dogs (our other dog still is) and our vet suggested we try J/D. It wasn't an overnight change but she is a different dog - she loves to play with her toys and chase a ball. It's wonderful to see her so happy. Worth every penny

Though the price seems high, it's actually a bargain--no more anti-inflammatories or vet bills, and our beloved son is now pain free, which make J/D worth its weight in gold. One bag turned the tide a year ago, and Wolfie continues to enjoy his life, looks half his age now, his eyes sparkle, and his plush coat glows. We cannot recommend this food highly enough!

When I give this dog food to my dog, who is 13 years old and has mobility issues, you can see the improvement quite quickly. Now I only feed her this food because she really moves better and doesn't struggle as much to get up. She seems more active.

I have spent many years and she is doing well.

Basically, Asia was having a lot of trouble walking because of arthritis. The vet prescribed these kibbles along with some supplements, and after a month she’s back to being active and cheeky 😄

My dog was diagnosed with HD early on, and the vet recommended this food. After a short time, there was already an improvement in his gait, and after a few weeks, we were able to do without painkillers for the next few years. Important when feeding: Don’t add any other substances like oyster shell, etc., because all the minerals in this joint food are perfectly balanced. You should keep this balance. We’ve been feeding it for 10 years now.

This is by far the best for mobility. My border collie is doing much better. Other brands just don’t have ingredients of the same quality.
