Autarky Mature Lite - Succulent Salmon

Great food. Kibble is large, triangular, and fits Kong wobbler. Fat low so one diet that does suit my street bred dog, keeping her anal glands working! Other brands were too digestible or processed. Only down side is that as a post op diet where soft food is required you might need to grind it first or soak it for ages. Faeces are a good diameter so keeps anal glands getting squeezed by poop. Keeps my dog smelling sweet and non pruritic. I've bought more than once!

My lab. Has been on this now for 2 years, his weight is kept in check and he is a very healthy dog. Without VAT as well, excellent for the price.

I've got 2 large dogs, 1 who has sensitive stomach and always does well on fish based foods. The other dog loved this too. Unfortunately after a month, the smell coming from the food sensitive dogs skin and fur was horrific. It's taken 2 months off the food for it to go away. No idea why he had that reaction but now got a whole bag un opened I can't use and no friends want it after smelling my dog.

Wow I have never had a dog food make my dog smell so bad and not from his back end!!! I have 2 large dogs and 1 is very sensitive to food so can only have fish based foods. Salmon of other brands have been fine and I've always liked Autarky so thought I'd try this deal. Just the 1 dog but the smell from his coat is vile, it's a fishy oily smell which just won't go despite bathing him. I can't use the 2nd bag, I've got to wash all bedding to get rid of the smell. The other dog is fine with it.
