I think it’s the rope texture and multi-tentacle design that seem to make this toy a favourite choice for my Parson Russell for puppy chewing. Useful in the travel crate in the car, or to occupy your puppy on a place bed. My puppy has unpicked some of the rope on the tentacles but then the frayed texture is also interesting. Well made, and tough.

The octopus was a gift, and for the first few days it was carried around. At some point, it got chewed on and within seconds the eyes were swallowed. The threads also get caught in the dog's teeth. Looks cute, but it's not suitable.

Fun little toy but the strings break quickly

My dog tore it up as soon as she got it. And she only weighs 5KG.

Nice little toy, but unfortunately it broke after the first play session. The tentacles fray easily and the rope comes undone. Still, it can be played with just fine.
