Since I'm not a fan of raw egg yolk and my dog suffers from itching and partial hair loss, I decided to buy Luposan Biotin based on the good reviews. I've been giving her one tablet in the morning and evening for three days now, and the improvement is clearly noticeable. Much less itching, her coat is growing back, and she shines like she's been freshly polished. I'll continue using it. A clear recommendation to buy. Of course, it's also clear that biotin can't help with other causes (parasites, allergies, etc.).

I have two dogs who now each receive Luposan Kräuterkraft, Luposan Biotin, and brewer's yeast powder (from the drugstore) daily as a supplement to their food. My Jack Russell Terrier Basset Hound mix suffers from a food allergy that hasn’t been fully identified yet – meaning I still don’t know exactly what in the food he’s allergic to (red skin, itching). Since adding these three supplements, he’s been doing much better. He hardly scratches himself anymore and his skin is only slightly red. This means he’s barely suffering now – and the search for suitable food for him has become much more bearable. My Border Collie hunting dog mix had issues with dandruff, dull fur, and, due to a weak immune system, was prone to skin infections caused by cocci. Since he started receiving these supplements, his coat is shiny and his skin hardly flakes anymore. We haven’t had any skin infections to report since starting the supplements. Other dog owners sometimes ask me enviously if I rub oil into my Border Collie hunting dog mix’s coat because it shines so much. But I only feed him high-quality dry food combined with these supplements. Luposan Biotin really seems to deliver on its promises. I’ll definitely buy it again.

Our Labrador Retriever mix used to struggle terribly with eczema every year from spring to autumn and had to be treated with antibiotics incredibly often because of it. For the past 2 years, he’s been getting 1 biotin tablet in the morning and evening, and lo and behold: less shedding, shiny coat, and almost no eczema anymore! I’m sticking with it – fantastic product!

I give the tablets in combination with Lupoderm oil, as my GSD has a really sensitive "bone" when it comes to skin and coat. Ever since he’s been getting it regularly, all the problems are a thing of the past! Itchy skin, hair loss… dull coat is something we haven’t experienced since, quite the opposite! His coat shines, the colours are truly vibrant, and he’s completely healthy! We’re sticking with it, THANK YOU!

Unfortunately, these biotin tablets have a strong herbal smell, so my cats won’t touch them. Even when mixed into their food, the food gets left untouched. Why does such a useful product have to smell so bad? After just under a week, though, the shedding had already reduced!

I always thought biotin was only good for claws. But with my girl, it worked wonders against the itching. I'm really impressed!

I have a very sensitive female dog whose claws were constantly breaking and splitting. Shortly after starting her on biotin, they grew back healthy! She now gets one tablet (10-kg dog) per day. Since then, I’ve never had any problems again! However, her coat is still quite "straw-like"...

Another great product from Luposan. Eagerly eaten, super easy to dose, works wonders for shiny, soft fur and strong claws. I’ll definitely buy it again.

I have an Oriental cat who is very allergic. Her food must not contain fish, beef, dairy products, carbohydrates, or rice. No matter which food I tried without these additives, she would scratch herself intensely on her neck, head, and ears. Since I was able to somewhat slow down premature greying in my dachshund with these tablets, I now give Kiddy (the cat) half a tablet in her food daily. After just four days, the scratching has improved significantly, and the wounds can finally heal.

Our Labrador girl had very straw-like fur, dandruff, a lot of hair loss, and the roots of her hair were grey. And all of this despite feeding her very high-quality food. After just about 2 weeks of giving her biotin, things improved significantly! We are truly impressed. The grey roots are completely gone. Her fur has become wonderfully soft and the dandruff is almost gone too. We will definitely continue giving her biotin!

My little terrier had very flaky skin and suffered from severe itching. For about two years now, she’s been taking these biotin tablets daily, and her itching has finally come to an end.

Since our German Shepherd (2 years old) is a highly allergic fellow, we are very cautious about what he gets. The constant scratching and shedding are now a thing of the past, thanks to Luposan Biotin. He tolerates it really well, and his claws have also improved significantly. We noticed the first results after just 14 days. Initially, he was given it for 8 weeks, but after that, the issues started again. Now he gets it regularly, just one in the morning and one in the evening, which he happily takes as a treat, and our dog has no more problems. Definitely recommend it – you save a lot on vet bills!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a short time, the shedding reduced and the coat became softer (German Shepherd/Labrador mix). I tried the Luposan Skin and Coat Treatment again, which disappointed me, so I’m going back to the biotin for the constant shedding.

The tablets (like little treats) were eaten along with the dry food without any issues. After about 14 days, we noticed a significant improvement. Our 11-year-old spayed female dog started shedding constantly—not just a little, but in clumps. Her coat was dull and simply falling out. So, we decided to try biotin, and it worked! Now she only sheds heavily during the coat-changing season; otherwise, we’ve got it under control. She’s been taking it continuously for three-quarters of a year now, and we plan to keep giving it to her.

Our dog had to undergo spaying two years ago, even at her advanced age. After that, she shed fur like crazy. Just touching her once would leave you with enough hair to fill a pillow. For the past 14 days, I’ve been giving her 2 tablets twice a day (which she eats like a treat, by the way), and now you can ruffle her fur without anything falling out. Even that dusty, flaky residue on her skin has disappeared. I’m over the moon and truly believe this is doing wonders for our Gipsy. I can only recommend these tablets.

Even though a Lab tends to shed all year round, I still wanted to reduce the amount of shedding and improve the shine of its coat. Everything worked brilliantly – except that the hairs seemed to have an extended lifespan and, over time, developed a noticeable brownish tint. Another four weeks and my black Lab would have turned brown. Once the extended lifespan of the hairs finally ended, the dog shed more than ever! The recommended dosage of 2x2-3 tablets per day is far too high, at least as a maintenance dose. 2x1 tablet is completely sufficient. The dog is getting its black coat back – let’s see if the shine remains.

Luposan Biotin is truly a very helpful product. I gave it to our German Shepherd-Wolfspitz mix because, after we adopted him from the shelter, he was covered in dandruff and losing an exceptional amount of hair. In some areas, he was almost bald. After giving him Luposan Biotin for a week, the shedding reduced significantly, and now, after just 14 days, there’s hardly any dandruff left. So, a very effective result thanks to Luposan. Five stars are absolutely deserved.

I’ve been giving it to my 3-year-old Labrador male for 3 weeks now and haven’t noticed any improvement in his coat problems at all. (He has brittle and uneven hair growth on his tail.) The tablets will last for about another week at most. I’ve now switched back to Velcote, as I had success with that a year ago. It was worth a try.
