Veterinary diet hypoallergenic dog food
This is great, my dogs love it, one of my dogs used to scratch alot, he is not doing it now... so think it is helping it.
My dog has allergies
My dog started this food a couple of weeks ago. He’s absolutely loving it. Now showing signs of less itching so I’m hoping that will settle totally. My GD is allergic to all meat and fish protein and it’s hard to get him to eat a lot of food. This dry insect food though he is loving. It is a little pricey but it’s worth it. Thank you zooplus

My frenchie has terrible skin allergies tried every food going, every medication even injections none really worked. Had allergy tests twice showed different things.
Last resort insect protein.
Fast forward to two weeks after using this food a dramatically noticeable change.
Been using this since now 2025 just ordered 2nd bag in Jan 2026.
Yes it’s more costly than I would want to spend BUT I’m not spending a fortune on other things to add to diet.

Dog loves it
My dog developed a food allergy and because he had a very varied diet, insects were the only novel protein he could have. Wasn't too sure about getting this at first, but he's never loved any kibble as much as this! He's even happy getting it as training treats and not only has his allergy cleared up, his poop has become more regular and his tooting has been reduced to a minimum. We'll 100% stick to this kibble even once we've figured out which protein he's allergic to.

Fantastic
We have a GSH who suffered terrible skin conditions, scabs sores, hair loss, weight loss. We spent a fortune at the vets and then we found the concept for life Hypoallergenic insect. Omg. 5 months of meals he loves, he is now 42 kg , amazing coat and not a sore in sight, thank you concept for life!!

Great food
Changed to this from Royal canine sensitivity Sc21. Archie our JRT has IBD . Loves this food and is looking really well on it. No issues regarding his stomach and a bonus of saving £150 per annum

Extremely pleased with this food we changed over a period of 14 days from the Royal Canin SC21 (which Archie had been on for 2 years for IBD ) with no problems and hes been on it for 5 months now with no issues, if anything he looks in better condition; he loves the taste and it saves us about £150 annually which is a bonus

A good pet food ruined
Since the new formula, this dog food is rubbish—my dog's allergy has flared up again because of it. Before, this was the best we’d ever found. Such a shame, we really loved it. It’s sad that every good thing gets cheapened; I would have been willing to pay more if they’d kept the original recipe.

I highly recommend this food!
My dog had a lot of issues before we settled on this food. We had tried Purina, Hill's z/d and others, but because of the cost we started with this food.

Recipe change!
The food was great and we used it for a long time. Unfortunately, the recipe was changed, which was immediately noticeable – the colour and weight are completely different. It's lighter in colour and much less dense, meaning I now need a larger volume to get the same weight in grams. The trusted feed ruined
We used to love it. The packaging was good, resealable, small pieces, my dog liked it and I was happy that, being insect protein, it was much more environmentally friendly than, say, buying lamb meat.
Now, after the change: you can’t reseal the package, I have to scoop out such a huge amount of food for my dog (to reach the previous 300g) that I don’t even have a measuring cup big enough, and my dog, who’s usually always hungry, refuses to eat it.

Recently I bought Concept for Life Insect Hypoallergenic food from Zoo Plus. Previously, I got the 12 kg bag and it was great. Unfortunately, this time the packaging has changed, and when I opened it, I noticed the food looks completely different – it has no smell at all and the colour is different too.
