My dog developed what looks like a hotspot within a week of using this shampoo. He's never had anything like this before and when I read another reviewer mention what sounds like exactly the same thing it confirmed for me that the shampoo is the most likely cause. I'm using coconut oil and homeopathy to clear up the area of irritation and I'll be returning to all natural basic soaps from now on. The Trixie shampoo is going in the bin!

Have been using this shampoo for some time now it is great and leaves my Retriever, Digby, with a lovely soft coat and the smell lasts for days. He looks forward to bath times which is usually every six weeks. It is by far the best dog shampoo I have used.

I was using an expensive shampoo from the vets for my sensitive dog, so thought I'd give it a try. She has never had shiny fur but it is a little better since using this. I use it monthly on both my Labrador and my Patterdale X poodle and they have healthy fur and don't smell bad.

Really nice smell and the way it's working

This is absolutely a very good shampoo! I Got this from my bonus points ,and thought i would give it a try..this has actually replaced my dogshow shampoos and is Also far better than the ones i have from the vet wich cost 4 times as much! The coat Doesent get static, and is very soft! Highly recomended ! From a breeder of shelties..

We tried a few products claiming to be sensitive for our golden retriever puppy, but they made him ichy and left flaky skin.this is the only one I will use and continue because it does a grand job,,soothing and smells lovely .

Lots of foam, an incredibly fresh smell, and no allergic reactions or itching on my Continental Bulldog—I 100% recommend it!

I don't know why some people are complaining, it's a shampoo with a subtle scent, cleans the fur very well, and doesn't cause dandruff.

The shampoo does what it's supposed to, smells really pleasant and is easy to use.

After using the shampoo, my dog’s coat is beautifully soft. It smells lovely too.

Used occasionally with each wash, strong allergic reaction (I didn’t make the connection) – had to go to the vet for treatment… I’ve just thrown away the shampoo, it’s really harmful for dogs’ skin. My Kitsune was scratching himself until he bled! And it lasted for 2 weeks.

We’ve been using the Trixie Aloe Vera Shampoo from the very beginning and we’re really happy with it. After a bath, our dog’s coat is well-groomed, soft, and shiny. The pleasant scent lasts for several days, depending on how active he is. We’ve tried more expensive shampoos too, but none of them convinced us like this one. For special cases, we do use a shampoo against parasites now and then, but this shampoo is a staple for us and we’ll definitely keep buying it.
