We'd tried a few different styles of claw clippers, including guillotine-type ones that we found crushed the claw painfully, before settling on scissor types. These are a good design and do the job nicely.

Tip to make kitty more amenable to claw clipping: every day when stroking the cat, briefly spread one or two of its paws out with your fingers and extend the claws (as if you were going to clip them), then let go and resume petting. You'll desensitise the cat to having its paws messed around with.

At first, the scissors were really good. But they became dull relatively quickly and now they crush rather than cut. Unfortunately, this also causes the claws to splinter.

I’ve had these scissors for almost 9 years now. And they just keep going and going and going. I use them to trim the claws of all my animals, from a 2.5kg dog to a 12kg dog, and even a 4kg cat. Even the guinea pigs have had the pleasure. :-)

The price-performance ratio is good! For the money, you can't set your expectations too high. However, it is quite annoying that the claws tend to break and fray. Because of this, I’ll be getting a better one.

The claw scissors work really well and are simply unbeatable for the price. A bit unsuitable for large hands, but otherwise very good for guinea pigs.

With my rabbits, nail trimming works great with this, although those scissors with a bit of spring are even better. But for the price, it's absolutely brilliant.

I was initially excited when unpacking the scissors, but when I held them in my hands and tried to trim my cat's claws with them, I was disappointed. The scissors are definitely made only for right-handed people. Room for improvement is welcome :-)

I recently bought these clippers, and I must say they work just fine. They leave a neat finish (the old ones always left my cat's claws a messy finish, with bits that broke and split). The only thing I can complain about is that I get tired after using them for a bit, maybe I'll try putting some oil or grease in the nut.

This is a great and safe pair of scissors for trimming cats' claws. Nothing can go wrong unless the animal moves too much. I will definitely buy it again.
