Very helpful!
This harness gives me, for the first time, the confidence that I can hold my dog in critical situations (like when a deer runs across the path). Walks have become much more relaxed as a result. The only downside: when the harness gets wet, it stretches a lot.

Overall great, but…
I ordered it to train our Aussie more safely. It worked brilliantly the first time. After that, she just tried to get rid of it, and in an unguarded moment during human conversation, the good piece around her neck was chewed through (in less than a minute). Such a shame, it didn’t last long—not due to the quality, but rather because of our Aussie’s determination to get rid of the thing.

Leash behaviour significantly improved
I’m really impressed – my Labrador bitch pulls significantly less with the harness. I never thought it could make such a difference.

Works brilliantly!
The dog hardly pulls anymore when going for a walk after just two uses.

Insufficient workmanship
Unfortunately, this Halti control is neither padded nor does it sit securely. When walking the dog, it shifts from side to side, making it impossible to control the dog. Additionally, pressure marks can develop under the front legs.

All educational support good
First of all: I don’t think that such a harness should replace proper training, especially when it comes to "normal" walks. Sure, it can be a lot of work sometimes, but it pays off in every way.
We use it for cycling because I feel safer with double fastening and can occasionally counteract the pull if he gets carried away.
Unfortunately, it tends to warp quite a bit when the dog really pulls, though that might depend on the dog's build.

Highly recommended
Despite a neighbour's recommendation, I was sceptical about the Halti. I was also bothered by its relatively "lightweight design." Unjustly so!!! The Halti delivers on its promises. Less pulling on the lead, better control of our dog, and consequently more relaxed walks.

Highly recommended!!!
We have a Great Dane, and she always pulls quite abruptly. Thanks to the harness, I have her perfectly under control, and she walks beautifully. I really enjoy going for walks with her again now.

Well
Unfortunately, I find it far too flimsy; when you fasten it at the front on the chest, it tends to slip rather than redirecting "the force". My dog (a shepherd mix) isn't bothered by the Halti harness at all. I can redirect as much as I want, and it makes no difference.

Halti
We have a White Shepherd, but unfortunately, I find the fastenings not sturdy enough; everything shifts very easily under heavy use.

Absolutely amazing!
Anyone still struggling with their pulling dog has only themselves to blame because this harness is the solution! Our dog, weighing almost 30 kg, is off-lead 99% of the time, which makes him even worse on the lead. It was starting to get really frustrating. This harness doesn’t restrict the dog, doesn’t hurt him, doesn’t bully him – it simply redirects the forces in such a way that the dog is effortlessly easy to handle on the lead. Absolutely recommended!

Useless
I bought this as I believed it was a reputable brand but three educated adults cannot fit this and it is not fit for purpose. Very disappointed

Simply brilliant
My nine-month-old Leonberger bitch wore the Halti harness for the first time today. She weighs 44kg and pulls very strongly, especially during encounters with other dogs. Even during the first trial, there were amazing results – she doesn’t pull as much anymore, and the lead stays slack. It’s simply brilliant.
Perfect for my leash rowdy, and it’s finally fun to go for walks with her again without being dragged through the neighbourhood. I can only recommend it – fantastic product, 5 stars.

Perfect crockery
We've been using this for years with our mixed breed (Shepherd, Boxer, Labrador, Hunting Dog), and now we've renewed it and noticed that the quality of the Halti has improved even further. The craftsmanship is really excellent. Walking with the dog and Halti is genuinely enjoyable, as there's virtually no annoying pulling on the lead anymore. In my opinion, it's one of the most comfortable harnesses for the dog, as it doesn't put any strain on the cervical vertebrae or neck area.

Works brilliantly for male dogs under hormonal stress
Dog (already well-trained, but currently in the absolute adolescent male phase, i.e. second puberty) can be walked past other dogs/males at a distance of 1cm with this, without a peep and largely without excitement. In a few months, we won’t need it anymore, but for now, it’s definitely a great way to save your nerves.

My Husky
Since I ordered it and tried it on my Rocky, I’ve been the happiest person on Earth. At first, it wasn’t fun anymore to go for walks with my husky—he pulled so much that I could barely hold him, and I even thought about giving him away.
As a last resort, I bought the harness, and now he walks just like a dog should. It’s genuinely enjoyable to go for walks with him again. The only downside is that I have to walk up the hill on my own now, as he no longer pulls me up.
