This is now my third foldable transport box, but this is the first one that has truly convinced me. I hardly notice that typical chemical "new" smell, which was unbearable with the previous ones. The stitching and the quality of the zippers are miles better, and the construction feels sturdy. There's a metal frame along all the edges. Setting it up is super easy and only takes a few simple steps. The medium size L is perfect for comfortably transporting two cats during a longer car journey. I'm also very pleased with the fast delivery.

I bought two in size M for my two Chihuahuas, and they have plenty of space inside. I'm also really impressed with the quality, as one of my two is a real rascal and destroyer 😃 but so far, he hasn't managed to wreck the hut... so thumbs up!

After extensive measuring in the partially filled boot using cardboard boxes, we decided on this kennel in size M for our three large (6 kg) tomcats. It turned out to be a bit bulkier than expected, but with some rearranging, we managed to fit it in alongside the rest of the luggage. In preparation (to get them used to it), we had the kennel set up in the living room for 14 days with the side wall open and fed the cats inside it. The journey went smoothly, with only a bit of squabbling over the "viewing spot" – just a small area of the built-in mesh, about the size of two hand spans, extended over the backrest. This spot was highly coveted by our very curious cats. Even on holiday, the kennel, set up with the side wall open, was used as a sleeping spot. The only downside, and the reason for giving 4 stars: there could be more and larger mesh panels. Not just for the view, but primarily for ventilation. We had to lower the rear air conditioning to 19 degrees; otherwise, the cats started panting even in moderate outdoor temperatures. If the alternative "Foldable Nylon Box Alu Deluxe" had been available at the time of ordering, it would have been my first choice (due to the larger mesh area).

This is the first time I have written a review but this product is worth it. Slightly difficult to locate the cross bars into their slots but otherwise child's play to assemble. The material is substantial and well put together with three of the sides and the top being able to open by zips. More to the point it (medium size) was well received by the user - our basset claimed it as his from the moment it was put up! One of our best buys.

Set up in just a couple of steps. Good quality and gives a sturdy impression (our 35 kg German Shepherd immediately lay on top of it). He clearly feels comfortable in it. We ordered size XL, though size L might have been sufficient; he definitely has plenty of space. I can highly recommend this dog crate!

I bought the hut for my French Bulldog, and she loves sleeping in it. Super easy to assemble, and it's great that you can open almost all sides. Perfect material for wiping down with a damp cloth. The only downside for me is that the insert is smaller than the base, meaning you can see the bars on the sides, and the colour isn’t exactly stunning—at least not for me :)

I am so pleased with this lovely portable pet home for my Shitzu Harry! It is beautifully made and so much nicer than the one Pets at Home offer that is twice the price!!! Thank you so much. It even came with a lovely treat in it. I am really delighted with it. Wendy Goodman x

We bought the box about 3 months ago for our Labrador puppy. All in all, it has withstood every scratch and bite. However, the seams couldn’t hold up when a 20 kg Labrador hung from the lid. This was fixable, though, and he hasn’t tried it again since. Unfortunately, our "little one" has now figured out that if he scratches in the right spot for long enough, the zip will open. The second attempt didn’t survive this and, unfortunately, it can’t be repaired anymore. Since we’re currently using a metal crate as a replacement, we’ve decided to order the box again because he slept better in it. All in all, we were very satisfied with the quality and sturdiness of the box. By the way, our Labrador is now 5 months old and already weighs almost 30 kg (show line). He still has plenty of space in the XL box and will hopefully fit in it even when fully grown.

We bought one of these portable crates in hopes our younger dog would take to it, she was not happy staying in strange places. We were so impressed we bought a second for our older dog. We are using the Large crates for a smallish Labrador and a Labrador cross. The fact that they open three sides makes them really easy to use in a confined space such as a tent or hotel room. They are easy to assemble and reasonably light and small to fit in the car. I added a piece of vet bedding and our younger dog suddenly understood that the crate is her safe space, anywhere we are and has taken to it really well. Well made, excellent value for money product.

I bought the box as a retreat for home and the car, or for when you go on holiday and want a familiar spot for the dog in the hotel room. At the moment, I’m using it as a sleeping place, right next to my bed, for our puppy. It’s very convenient that it can be opened from the top – this way, I can reach in anytime and check if everything is okay. Our puppy occasionally scratches at the walls and tries to bite the bars... of course, I stop him from doing that, and so far, the box is stable and intact. The criticism that the box gets destroyed after just a few days surprises me – with us, not even a thread has come loose! However, I don’t lock our puppy in there and leave for long periods! I can imagine the box might get dismantled in that case – but you shouldn’t leave a puppy alone for too long anyway! So, for my purposes, the box is fantastic – with the two long sides, one short side, and the option to open it from the top, it’s very versatile! And our puppy feels very comfortable in it... even his sister, who often visits, curls up in the box as if it’s the most natural thing! One more piece of info – I bought the box directly in size L, hoping it would last long enough until the puppy is fully grown. He’s a Border Boxer mix. I think the size of the box should be sufficient for dogs up to about 60cm... I hope he doesn’t get much bigger. 😊

The box is quick to set up, of very good, sturdy quality!! Great price!! My 60 cm tall dog has plenty of space in the XL box; he can stand and lie stretched out!! Highly recommended!!

We ordered the XL box for our Border Collie mix female dog, and she already feels completely at home in her new den. Assembly was super easy, and it even withstands our cats, who love to relax on the roof. Quick delivery, though the courier left the huge package by the mailboxes, which isn’t ideal in a building with many residents! But we’d definitely order it again!

I use this crate both for the car and for overnight stays with friends – the dog feels comfortable, the crate is super easy to set up and still sturdy. Definitely recommend it!

Our French Bulldog moved in without any complaints... the hut is very easy to set up. I actually expected more fiddling around, but you just fold it out, clamp it, tension it, and you're done! The holder for the water bottle is also practical... all in all, a good product!

Our Golden Retriever (11 weeks old) has moved in and sleeps in this hut (size L) at night :-) On the second day, he started sneaking in there occasionally during the day as well. We had feared the *worst*... getting up at night and so on, but the little one goes out with us for the last time at 9:30 pm and then sleeps through until 7:30 am. Then everything has to happen quickly *lol*. He doesn’t whine but starts scratching like crazy when he needs to go out *grin*. The hut holds up well to all the scratching too! All in all, we’re super happy!

I use this transport crate in the smallest size (size M) for two cats (both 4 years old, together weighing under 8 kg) in the car (back seat) for trips to the vet. Compared to foldable bags, the 'Pet Home' is safer and more stable; the two tomcats clearly feel more relaxed and protected in it, with enough space and visibility. Assembly and disassembly are practical and quick. The washable woolly insert with Velcro fastening is a nice touch.

My 9-year-old Jack Russell Terrier has never liked riding in the car. Since we got the TRANSPORTHÜTTE PetHome and were able to get him used to it at home first, every car journey has become much more pleasant for all of us, whether two-legged or four-legged, and we arrive at our destination feeling relaxed!!!
