My dog (who isn't even that chewy) nibbled through this in the space of a 5-minute car ride. I bought two of these and almost regretted it. I say almost because the carabina clips are excellent quality (hence a 2 stars instead of a 1). With those and the seatbelt clip from the old one I was replacing, along with a length of chain, I was able to make a strong, non-chewable version which works a treat. My little dog gets very excited when she travels in the car, so we need the restraints.

Of all the seat belts we've tested, this one is the best for us. Nice and short, so the dog can't reach across half the car, and it gives a sturdy impression. Thankfully, we've never had to do an emergency stop, so the ultimate test is still pending. Handy if you’re riding spontaneously in someone else’s car.
