My 13-year-old Border Mix loves the bed. It fits perfectly in the boot of my small car and does a great job of cushioning the bumps from the road.

It’s worked really well for us, since then our dog spends about 90% of the time lying on it. What you can’t see in the picture: the memory foam is in pieces inside the product, not in one solid piece. For us, this was actually a plus, because it means the whole thing constantly shapes itself to the dog’s body. It’s a bit tricky to clean with a vacuum cleaner, as the hairs tend to stick and get caught in it.

My dog doesn’t really like lying on it, because after he’s been on it a few times, the material gets squashed and becomes quite hard and uncomfortable. Really, it needs to be fluffed up again after every use.
