Purina Pro Plan Fortiflora Feline Probiotic

We had a terrible few weeks with our new rescue cat he stank our house out with his constant bad wind. We adjusted his diet and found out he had an intolerance to beef and by cutting this out of his diet reduced the amount of stinky guffs he did a day but never the less he still left the house smelling terrible. I then brought this probiotic and yay it has stopped! No more stinky wind. He loves it too and will not eat his food unless it is added. I use 1/2 packet on each of his 2 daily meals.

My rescue boy was a stray for many years and as a result, his tummy goes through flare ups. I now use this every day on his breakfast and he is now regular and firm. No more tummy troubles! He loves the taste too, which really helps.

My cat loves the smell of this probiotic but he cannot cope with a whole sachet as it makes him vomit. He's 10 and remains a nervous rescue cat after 8 years with us. However he eats all his food and keeps it down if I just sprinkle a very tiny amount of the powder over each meal. I think a whole sachet might just be too rich for him. Just one sachet lasts about a week used very sparingly as a light dusting.

My cat has IBS..her poo is liquid no matter what I do, I've tried many probiotics - she won't touch them or will eventually eat them and then promptly puke. This , together with steroids and royal Canin gastrointestinal fibre response seems to work the best. She at least stopped puking and the poo is slightly less liquid

This was recommended to me by the vet as both of my kittens had an upset tummy due to a mild virus. I gave it to them with their usual food for just over two weeks and the situation got increasingly worse. Just a day after stopping the probiotics, both their stools began to firm again and I don’t think it was just a coincidence. I’m not sure if this is because they are kittens, but the product does say it’s suitable

This helps to soothe her tummy, promote normal GI function and firm up stool. It is the best of all the probiotics I’ve tried. The way to give it is in the morning meal, mixed thoroughly into the food. She will not eat it otherwise. I had to be persistent with her because she wouldn’t eat it at first, despite her so desperately needing to. That would be my advice to those if you with kitties that turn their cute noses up at this. 💜

Both my cats will not go anywhere near their food when this is added or sprinkled on top. So no ice if it would work as they hated the taste / smell

Bought this for my two Maine coons who have never had a solid poo since I’ve had them they are now 6 months old and before purchasing this I had tried lots of different products including prescription drugs from the vet nothing works it wa the vet who recommended this and once again it didn’t work

These seems to be helping. My rescue kitten stinks the home out with bad flatulence. It's as bad as a big dog. I put half a powder a day on her food and the farting is now only half as bad.

Wasn’t sure how this would help my ginger Tom, he is an extremely fussy eater & having only just changing his main wet food due to Vet diagnosis IBD/IBS WOW it’s like gold dust he just can’t wait to get eating . I’ve put food down without it and he just refuses- add sprinkles and we have clean plates time after time. Healthy litter box - overall one very happy kitty- His coat & stamina is much more improved.highly recommend

My otherwise healthy cat had suffered from daily diarrhoea for a long time. Sample tests for parasites were all negative & I tried switching his diet but he refused to eat any of the foods I tried. Someone then recommended I try Fortiflora. I was delighted to see definite signs of improvement after about a week and now 6 weeks later his stools are normal most of the time which is amazing considering this was a longstanding problem. He also loves the smell/taste of it on his food!

As my cat reached 17 years old, I noticed he became less regular. Instead of once a day he now often poo every other day. So I ordered this Pro Plan feline probiotics. Despite we started slowly by only giving him a half sachet a day, it seems this completely stopped his bowl movement. Nothing changed in his dry and wet food, and yet he hasn’t done 1 poo over the past 4 days while having this probiotics. He now looked very lethargic. I can imagine he must feel very unwell, feeling so worried.

I purchased as my cat had been diagnosed with Pancreatitis and had to have a bland diet. On foods that she would not eat all I had to do was sprinkle this on and she would eat it. I have also tried when my other cats didn't eat their food and they loved it to. Would definitely recommend if your cat is off their food. There has been an improvement in her toilets and hope this will improve. Only now to find a food that helps her

Easy to mix in my cat's wet food. A great idea, and glad my cat will have a month of some good bacteria to balance things.

I have 2 Norwegian Forest Cats (males) my breeder recommended this when they were kittens with upset tummies. I’ve used it ever since they are 4 years old now and never have trouble with their tummies and their poo is always firm and normal.

Nervous tummy and very loose bowel movements. Based on the reviews I bought this product. My cat just won't eat the food with it in. I'd been given a paste prebiotic by the vet that just freaked her. Had all my hopes on this powder.

I have 3 Bengals who are very fussy eaters as well as being renowned for tummy troubles. They each have 3 wet food meals a day with Fortiflora sprinkled over the top alongside adlib dry food (both gastrointestinsl as Bengals are renowned for loose stools). They woof it down plus firm stools. I can't recommend it enough.....

Be careful when buying this. My kitten has bad diarrhea just after two sackets. I hope he will recover soon, but I will never buy

My cat has IBD or IBS always has poorly stomach but this is amazing. She is so much happier settled and better she eats any food with this on and enjoys it

My cat had very stubborn diarrohea for months, despite being treated for a parasite at the vets that initially seemed to sort out his tummy. I spoke to my vet, started giving him sachets every day and his tummy is back to normal. I'm still going to give him a sachet every other day to make sure we don't have a reoccurance and my vet said it was ok to do so and that this was a really good product.
