Value for money
Good thing we bought it as a special offer, as the quality isn’t particularly great. But the cats don’t seem to mind – laid it on the floor and they accepted it straight away... So, mission accomplished: the cats like it, and that’s the most important thing.

Not recommended
Cheapest quality and not exactly lovingly designed. My cats completely ignore the scratching board. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right.

Well...
I bought this scratching board without very high expectations, but I certainly didn’t expect a small piece of sisal to be stapled onto a really POORLY cut piece of plywood! What a shame! Even as a special offer, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right!!!

Nicki loves it
So, although I never would have thought it, my cat "Nicki" absolutely loves this scratching board—even though I haven’t even managed to mount it on the wall yet. I didn’t get that far. Right after unpacking it, I just placed it briefly on the floor, and, as curious as cats tend to be, she immediately strutted over to it. What can I say? She’s either sitting on the board, right next to it, or passionately sharpening her claws on it. So, we’re all completely satisfied with it! :-)
The only thing is, the material of the cat-shaped contour could be sturdier—well, let’s see how long the scratch-cat lasts.

Poor quality
I'm not impressed. I ordered the board during the birthday week at a bargain price of 5 euros. After 2 minutes, I already had an ear (from the wooden cat) in my hand... curious as my cats are, they tried nibbling on the other ear, which then revealed that the board's base is very thin and produces nasty splinters that I definitely don't want ending up in my cats' mouths....
The sisal attachment is quite good and, unlike the board, better made, but ultimately it's of no use... the splintering was too dangerous for me, so I unfortunately ended up throwing the thing in the bin after just a few days...
It's a shame because the board is really different, nice to look at, and a great alternative for small spaces, if, yes if the base were a bit better!

Quality issue
I had already bought one scratch cat some time ago from Zooplus, and my cats and I were thrilled with the quality. Now I wanted to buy two more. The scratch cats I received were no longer made of the lovely light wood but instead of some kind of pressed chipboard, and the top and bottom were coated with a type of foil. Every corner was broken off a bit. I didn’t even bother unpacking them, just got an RMA number straight away and returned them. Now I’ve bought the scratch cats in the old quality from Garten Dehner. Such a shame!!!

We are satisfied!
Our two (furry) ladies of the house are absolutely obsessed with the boards. It's just a shame that the sisal tears after a while and our "diva" starts eating the sisal.

Hello, my two tomcats absolutely did not accept the scratching board. Since they are outside all day, they are used to other "scratching posts." Perhaps suitable for indoor cats. Besides, I can't say that the scratching board looks nice. OK, for the price, you probably can't expect much more.

not slip-resistant
The scratching board slides on laminate flooring. We've had to attach stoppers now.

Unfortunately, nothing again...
The cat looks really cute. We’ve securely screwed it to the wall. The quality is definitely fine. Unfortunately, our two don’t want to scratch there at all, just like with the floor-to-ceiling scratching post or the coconut mat... apparently, only the sofa is interesting :-(

Simply brilliant
I wouldn't want to be without these cat scratching boards anymore. Wallpaper? No, thank you! My furry little rascals must be thinking the same, and on top of that, they're a real eye-catcher!
Full marks!

My cat loves it
My cat is now 10 years old and every Christmas I get her one of these "scratch cats" (as we call them). Because after a year, it's completely scratched up.

Perfect!
We mounted the "Scratch Cat" 20 cm above the ground on the wall, and my tomcat clings to it with all four paws and climbs around!! ;o) My cat isn’t as strong, but she works her way up from the bottom!
The saviour for my doors! Brilliant!

I find it very imaginative and funny, the price is reasonable.

An absolute cracker lying down
We didn’t even bother to screw it on; the board was immediately "claimed". Our kitty rubs and nuzzles against it, uses it for scratching and stretching – and sometimes she just lies on it. A great investment!

Whoever doesn't buy this is...
This thing is absolutely brilliant! As soon as you remove the packaging and try to set it up, the house cats come over and start scratching at it!!! It's so much fun watching them play and roll around on it. You don't even need to screw it in. Just place it on the floor and wait! You'll be amazed!!! And at this price, do you even need to think twice? Go for it!

...whether he likes it?
At first, when I held the good piece in my hands, I was quite sceptical. I didn’t like the idea of having to attach the scratching board with nails at all. So, I grabbed the cordless drill, as I couldn’t find anything else. But somehow, the nails didn’t want to cooperate... and lo and behold, when I came back with the screwdriver, they screwed themselves in as if by magic. I’ve attached it to my wardrobe, which was convenient during the move... whether my tomcat will like it, I don’t know yet, as I’m only picking him up next week. He’s absolutely adorable, a year old, and doesn’t really like people... but somehow, we’ve got a connection. Haha, I just had to share that. I’m already so excited!

Resounding success
Jule and Mikosch were thrilled from day one. However, they don’t scratch it; instead, they lie on it and rub their backs and little heads. I just can’t bring myself to hang it on the wall. But how on earth do I get all the cat hair off it again? :-)

Scratching board
A great alternative for cats to scratch and mark "important" spots in a natural way. This board – and its shredded predecessor – are truly a hit!
