Wild Freedom Adult "Wild Hills" Sterilised Duck - Grain-Free

My cats USED TO LOVE wild freedom. Until they changed their recipe and since then my cats will not eat it. I purchased this hoping it is the old recipe as it said new- and the kibble photo was the same as the old. Wild freedom..Read your reviews! No one is happy with the changes you've made. These are less meat, smaller in size and dry and a waste of money. If you have to, bring back your orginal recipes & higher the price - im willing to pay more at this rate im just wasting money!

Before the Wild Freedom biscuits disappeared from sale and reappeared in new packets, they had min 40% fresh meat, I checked on my final bags of old stock. Now down to 30% ☹️ packet just says ‘lots of fresh meat’.

Both my cats loved the previous Wild Freedom Adult "Wild Hills" (back when it still had grains). So I decided to try the sterilised version. That was a complete flop. The food seems to taste totally different, because both cats completely turned their noses up at it. The kibble pieces are also much smaller.

Having seen recent negative reviews about the chicken recipe, I wasn’t sure what to expect with the duck one: and indeed, there’s a change in colour, smell, and texture that feels really cheap compared to what I ordered six months ago. My cat has been eating these kibbles for years, but unfortunately I’ll probably switch brands now.

For my cat, these are probably her favourites, just like almost the entire Wild Freedom range.

I bought these kibbles because of what was promised on the packaging (grain-free, 30% fresh meat). Unfortunately, my cats can’t read, but they only tasted these kibbles and left them in the bowl. I’m disappointed because of the money I spent, and they’re disappointed because the taste definitely isn’t up to the standard of a premium food.

After the change, my cat swallows the kibbles whole and they taste worse too. It's a shame, now I have to look for a new food…

It's a shame that the size and composition of the kibbles have changed – my cat swallows them whole, she doesn't eat them well.

The meat content is actually 63% in total, not 30% as some reviews claim. 30% fresh chicken, 22% dried chicken, 10% dried duck, 1% chicken liver. Apart from that, various herbs, vitamins, taurine, etc....

This used to be my tomcat’s favourite food. After constant delivery issues and a new packaging design, the meat content has now also been reduced from 40% to 30%. The pieces are noticeably lighter in colour and smaller. This applies to the other varieties as well. I managed to get a few of the old packs elsewhere, but now I have to find something new because my cat won’t touch it anymore. Cat owners know what I mean. These four-legged friends are very picky. Really disappointing and also quite annoying.
