had the opposite effect
bought these biscuits to help prevent my cat from getting urinary crystals (she's prone to them with certain foods). eating them gave her urinary crystals. now she's so uncomfortable and in pain and i have a vet bill I can't afford without borrowing money.

Schmilla brand is just as good as other more expensive brands. My cat likes them and she’s happy.

Made my cat vomit
I ordered this product to try as a cheaper alternative to the usual urinary dry cat food I purchase. After a couple of days of using it, I noticed my cat kept on vomiting and having very runny stools. I wasn't sure if it was this food causing the problem, but stopped using it and threw the open pack away.
Yesterday, I ran out of my usual brand and still had an unopened bag of this, so decided to try my cat with a small amount. After only about an hour, she was violently throwing up!!

My fussy little cat has tried most of the urinary dry foods and besides royal canin (which she inhales and then throws up) this is the only one she really likes and I really persevered with the other brands, especially as some of them are only available in massive bags!

Bladder gravel gone
My tomcat was really suffering from bladder grit and refused all the expensive food from the vet. After trying 3 different brands, I ended up with this food. The bladder grit disappeared. Recently tried another food again and sometimes those liquid snacks. The grit came back straight away. Quickly switched back to this food and now my cat is doing really well again. I recommend it to everyone.

Doesn't Work Well Enough Against Gravel
After my cat started having urinary problems due to bladder grit, I switched to this product. Unfortunately, after half a year, my cat had to be catheterised again. I showed the vet which food my cat was eating, and it turned out it wasn’t of good enough quality. On the vet’s strong advice, I switched to a higher quality pet food.

Doesn't work against bladder grit
Unfortunately, after years without any issues, my tomcat developed a lot of urinary crystals again just a few weeks after switching to this kibble. The vet measured a pH of 8 in his urine, which is way too high, especially since the food is supposed to make the urine more acidic. Protect your tomcat and don’t buy this kibble.

Recurring cystitis and urethral obstruction

Great food for cats with bladder/kidney problems
Our two neutered tomcats love this food and tolerate it really well, and have done so for many years now. Ever since we started feeding them this food, the vet only sees us for the annual check-up. All bladder and kidney problems have disappeared. I can recommend this food to any cat owner whose pets have kidney or bladder issues. It would just be nice if the food came in more flavours.
