Smilla Adult Sensitive - Grain-Free Poultry

Good value so I can feed my other cats as well. Unlike lots of other brands it doesn't contain pea protein which my cat with megacolon & a sensitive stomach reacts to. I feed alongside wild freedom wet food & he's now very rarely sick.

Cat had food poisoning and was reacting to all usual foods. This grain free (with potato) seems to work for him well. We will continue! it's very crunchy so he likes that too.

My cats started getting ill & lost energy , stopped eating and one nearly died. The vet had to put him on the drip in hospital and turned out kidneys have been affected. They are 15 years old brothers& no previous issues. After lot of care, cost&change of diet, recovered some health but have damaged kidneys. I tried to give them more of this food once better & they went downhill fast. I binned it. I believe this product caused their ill health.

Not great my cats are constantly begging for food and they poop like they they have eaten as much as my 30kg dog does.

This is a good grain free food that my cats seem to like.

Whilst trying to cut costs last year, we tried this for a while. It was well accepted, but our ragdoll boy with a sensitive tummy, had terrible wind with it! It was constant, every day. He would also still have a runny tummy now and again. We switched back over to a different brand, but this might be OK for not such a sensitive cat, as I've seen others got on fine with it.

I have only used one bag my cat really likes it but coming to the end of the bag we notice she started to loose her fur on her ears and around her neck and started itching alot! For the last two weeks i went back to her old food and she has stopped itching and her fur on the ears is coming back!

My eldest was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and put on hypoallergenic food. Unfortunately, he refused to touch any of it. He has always had a 50/50 wet/dry diet, and finding biscuits that were for sensitive tummies, won't break the bank and were tasty felt impossible. All 3 of my cats go crazy for this, and they've been eating this 1 flavour for a year now!

I had my cats on Royal Canin Digest Sensitive for a long time because its high protein, grain free and they both had sensitive tummies but the cost was becoming extortionate at £75 for 10kg, I just couldn't do it anymore. I wanted something which was grain free, protein rich but kinder on my purse strings and this product is the one! Both cats loved it so needed no gradual transition at all! And they have still got happy tummies!!

Our cat was eating this food for years no issue....and recently he has developed an allergy to it and started to loose some fur with itchy skin. I am aware that cats can develop allergies to any food after a number of years but I was quite disappointed. My other cats coat also became a bit dull. Switched to a slightly more pricey grain free and the issues have stopped. Shame really as price wise this is excellent...however the remaining bag is going to my garden hedgehogs instead.

I have 6 cats, and all of them happily eat this food. One specifically needs a sensitive diet, and I have found that this, along with smilla wet (tins), helps with his digestion issues. Having 6 cats all eating the same thing is a miracle in itself. I found that with feeding smilla, my cats eat less because of the high quality of the ingredients. I have been feeding my cats smilla for over 4 years now and have no intention of stopping.

I changed my cats to this food as one of my boys was having terrible tummy trouble and was struggling to maintain weight. He would lay on my bed at night passing wind which stunk and you could literally hear his tummy gurgling away. It kept me awake it was so bad! I like this food is grain, wheat, additive free. He settled and his weight is back on and all my other cats love the biscuits too. All my cats are feral rescues and I now have 3 new additions which are on the kitten version too

I'm afraid my little feline tried it ate some, again only for a day or two and then she showed absolutely no interest in it this is the third time with 3 different complete dry food.

My cats needed some more grain-free biscuits as the odd 'topper' to their wet food. They enjoy Smilla in cans so thought I'd get them this. Well, if anything, it's made my 10 y/o girl cats poo very runny, and it smells something awful. We perhaps thought it was just a coincidence but we took her off the dried food for a few days and then gave her a little and well, within the hour she was using her litter box and the whole house smelled really bad. It's a shame, but it is a let down.

Glad got grain free version! This is good food but seriously needs to be in the10kg bags like the rest of smilla ones as I have to buy in bulk for multicats also doing the deal on 2 x 10kg bags. Sadly I have to buy the other smilla ones as more for money

From having a cat who throws up daily from eating supermarket bought food to eating this has really helped his stomach and is maintaining a healthy weight ☺️

Bought this for my cat who threw up daily eating supermarket crap to this has saved us, we only now have furballs with is very rare! Two 4kg bags last forever with three cats too, definitely cheaper and better than what you get in the supermarket!

My tomcat is 8 years old and has always tolerated the food, but now suddenly he gets diarrhoea from it. Such a shame, especially since I bought a big bag.

Grain-free crocchine are very much appreciated by my little beasts, with an excellent quality-price ratio.

I have 23 stray cats that I feed, and since I pay for everything myself, this is the best value for money.

Both cats took to it really well; they immediately rejected the original dry food, and whenever I put both out, they always choose this one. What I like: it doesn’t smell, and it’s free from sugar and grains. I mainly feed raw meat and Animonda Carny, but the dry food is a nice change and they’re happy to eat it.

I have two cats and neither of them liked it. When they ate a few pieces, they got diarrhoea for a couple of days and my female cat's gums got swollen. Such a shame...

My three cats have no problem eating the food BUT their poop smells really bad and sometimes so strong that it stinks up the rest of the flat. But the price is good!

Very high-quality grain-free kibbles, with a nice smell. Even our very picky 17-year-old kitty likes them. We recommend them. Thank you.
