My 7 year old British Shorthair suddenly developed constipation. Although he was hydrated, his bowel movements reduced to once every 4 days. £2k, multiple scans and an enema later, the vets still couldn't find the cause. I was running out of options but read the reviews of these biscuits and bought immediately. The best decision! Within a week, his bowel movements were back to daily!! We're all so so happy and relieved. He loves the taste of the biscuits and didn't need any convincing!

My cat has had gastric problems for years and more recently constipation. I use both the kibble and the wet version. I had hoped just to use the wet and GI sensitive kibble but that was not sufficient. He needs both. The kibble I find is much stronger than the wet. But with a bit of trail and error have found the right combination that works He also loves both no problems there. I only wish i could buy both on this site

My cat has suffered with constipation his whole life. He would struggle to pass faeces and when he did they were small hard pebbles. I switched him to this food several years ago and it has been life changing. He regularly passes a good 6 inches of stool in one go,sometimes more, and is so much more comfortable. He is no longer in pain straining to pass the smallest of pebbles. I can't recommend this food highly enough.

I’ve a mega colonic cat who, since his tail amputation has been miserably constipated and in pain when passing stools. After laxatives stopped working and the enemas became expensive and unpleasant for the rest of the family I looked at trying a last resort with diet. This food has been a revelation - I have my happy and naughty 4yr ginger nutcase back, his appetite has improved, he’s gained weight and he’s back to being very energetic. I am in no doubt that this food has sorted him out!!

It cured my cat's constipation after one serving. I cannot stress enough how great this product has been. My cat does not have a medical condition but vet recomended adding fibers whenever this happens but instead of going for feline laxatives, I figured it would be better to regulate her diet with some fiber-rich kibble. It worked wonders!

My hairless cat, a Petebald, has a “lazy colon”. He is constantly constipated with hard, pebble like stools. I’ve tried everything. Vet prescribed a stool softener, which he disliked - we’d usually get covered in the sticky substance. Massaging his colon regularly helped. I could even feel the hard stools. He loves these biscuits and took to them immediately. Within days his bowl movements improved. He passed stools as long as my middle finger!

Got this for my cat Felix as he is constipated if he has biscuits such as go cat & he needs to lose some weight well he loves them & he's not in pain when he uses his litter tray anymore his sister loves them too very pleased with this product x

One of my Cats has Mega-Colon and her bowel does not work on it's own. She is on medication for life in conjunction with this food, which she loves. It gives her the perfect amount of the right type of fibre, so she doesn't get constipated but also means she doesn't feel hungry. A real life saver for her!

One of my boys has had diahorea for years and nothing has worked - one of my other boys was put on this to help him go to the toilet and was suggested to give Atum this too but the vet was not optimistic however it works and Atum is as good as he has ever been and his poo's are 98% better after only 5 days of eating this..

I can only say good things about this product—it saved my tomcat who had serious issues, bloody stools, inflamed colon. I tried many other things, but this one was recommended by the vet. I made a serious mistake with this order; 'fibre response' written in tiny letters on the package gave my cat diarrhoea until my vet told me it's the 'response' for constipated cats!!!!

Extremely high-quality food for my tomcat, who had stomach problems for a long time before this.

My cat suffered a lot from severe constipation. Every time, we had to go to the vet. Over two years, I paid 2400 euros to the vet. Each time, they had to empty his bowels under anaesthesia. Then we were advised to give Royal Canin Gastro... RC to the cat. After two days, the cat could suddenly poop without any trouble. It really is a miracle cure. The only downside is that these kibbles are too expensive. But it's worth it to me.

These kibbles are essential for my cat to have normal stools. It's a shame the brand doesn't make a fish-flavoured mousse.

Three of my four cats currently have very hard stools, and one of them gets diarrhoea with any food. I can hardly believe it, but this helps with both problems. I've been relying on Royal Canin for a long time. It's tasty medicine.

I've been using Royal Canin Gastro-Intestinal kibble for Maya for two years now and I'm really very happy with them. They do exactly what they're supposed to! Before, Maya used to get constipated, but now she goes to her litter box once a day, like clockwork. These are really top-quality kibbles that Maya enjoys and that suit her perfectly. I recommend them without hesitation!

After an initial bout of intestinal blockage handled by the vet, with this food I solved the problem for my Maine Coon and the hair he swallows. Along with specific products to hydrate his stools, everything is going well now.

My probably final update regarding RC Fibre Response – not because the experiences got worse, but because a diagnosed kidney insufficiency made it necessary to "put on the brakes" (from a lot of easily digestible protein to as little protein as possible). Based on my experiences since 2020, I was very sceptical whether it would work at all without RC Fibre Response – but yes, with plenty of Movicol Junior (from the vet) and regular wet food, it seems to work!

Our Maine Coon is 7 years old and has a megacolon, suffers from constipation, and has already had to go to the vet five times to be cleared out. Then I happened to see this dry food on Zooblus, and what do you know—it works wonders! I add a bit of Levolac to it, Royal Canin Response. Thank goodness Zooblus has it.

Nothing to say about the product itself, it's great for my cat who has constipation issues. However, I noticed that at Arcaplanet it costs €29 (that’s €3.50 less). I’ve been buying from Zooplus for years—when deliveries were delayed, they used to offer you a discount voucher, but now, even after all these years, not even that (which is disappointing). Also, I’ve noticed that all the other products are always on sale, but the one I buy regularly never is. I’ll switch to Arcaplanet, which seems more convenient to me.

My tomcat is 11 years old. Vet visits every three months. He was always constipated. He’d only go to the litter box once every three days and kept vomiting. It makes us so happy after all the suffering he went through for years. Now he’s content. Since May, everything’s been calm. We’re already on our third bag and I can’t praise it enough. We don’t need to go to the vet anymore. Some people are happy with something expensive, but for us, it’s a daily poop in the litter box that brings joy.
