Happy old lady
She loves this food, has managed to loose a bit of weight due to the reduced calories and my 14yr full of energy and playing like a kitten. Coat feels good, less issues with hairballs compared to purina one, highly recommend

You find food that your cat likes and then they change it ! Why !
Saying that i slowly introduced this to my cat mixing it with the 12+ and all is good he loves it and so far no tummy upset (relieved to say the least)

Older cat loves it
I have an older cat with an upset stomach due to her age. She vomits regular food, but this one is fine: she's able to digest it and vomits less.
Cat hates it and caused upset tummy
As others have already mentioned it upset my girl’s tummy even though we did the transition slowly and it took about a week to go back to normal. Plus my cat just hates this food. She loved the previous formula but she just won’t eat this one unless it’s mixed with some other food, she even hates the wet pouches of the new formula, I’ve now switched her to pro plan’s senior cat food, shame because we were so happy with the old formula
Not just a change of packaging, and something just disagrees with many kitties
Thanks to the warnings of other reviews, I spotted this wasn't kust a change of packaging from the 12+, and started a slow mix with my last bag of 12+ to transition our cats over.
Unfortunately, even this wasn't enough, and they've been poorly every time we've slowly increased the ratios. We're going to need to start over with a gastro food instead, and sit with a very expensive waste of food instead.

‘New design’ got me confused with just a pack change
It’s a new formula. I called Royal Canin. If you like me, transition to a new food slowly, be aware this is not the same as the 12+ sterilized. I was left with none of the old formula to mix thinking it was a packing change only. I was told by Royal Canin and my cat vet to give the ‘Gastrointestinal’ until I could locate the old formula to then start mixing with the new one.
I’m not rating the new formula. I’m rating the ‘new look’ confusion this can cause.

Royal Canin Ageing 11+ Kibble
I was expecting to get kibble with a soft centre like the old recipes, but these are dry and not necessarily easy for older cats to chew.
For the price, I'm disappointed—I expected better, even if the formula is supposed to be optimised and very good.

Disappointing
After reading all the positive reviews, I thought I’d give this a try for my 11.5-year-old cat who has dental issues and often diarrhoea. I have to say… the diarrhoea was solved with this food, but at what cost… my cat ended up with really hard stools after eating these kibbles. It stuck to her bottom, so you can imagine: everywhere she went and tried to wipe it off, it got spread around… So, for my cat, this was definitely not a success!
